Today I bring you a cover of a song from 1936 entitled “That Nobody Knows My Suffering”, written by Ángel Cabral and performed for the first time by the Argentine singer Hugo del Carril. Although it was initially conceived as a Peruvian waltz, there have been many versions to other genres by artists such as Julio Jaramillo, Édith Piaf, La Sonora Dinamita and Soledad Pastorutti, who has become a benchmark for me, as I admire their vocal quality and interpretive, and it is his version that I used as a guide for this interpretation.
