Our All-around Help

Hello Hive friends! I am so glad I still had the time to publish my entry for Aseanhive community challenge week 43 "THIS IS MY MOTO"

How are you all? I hope you are well and happy.

So our motorcycle is Motorstar150, funny, that's all I know about it even if it had been years since my first ride.

Motorcycle has really a huge help in our lives because it makes our commute safe and fast, oh and cheap too!

Way back when my husband was so encouraged for making his scarp business successful, he decided we loan a motorcycle; it is payable for 3 long years which makes the unit more pricey. We have no choice because
we don't have money to pay it in cash.

So to make the motorcycle useful for his business, he defined it so we can install and uninstall sidecar easily so we can carry huge and bulky loads.

Image of our moto with sidecar and is loaded with scrap bottles we just bought.

When my husband does not go buy scraps, he uninstalls the sidecar and we make it our service vehicle and he is fetching me every afternoon after work. He used to be bringing me to work but since our busy schedules, I now take a commute to work and then he fetches me every afternoon.

Below is a photo of my husband waiting for me outside my workplace.

Also, We use our moto for our travels in our locality. We don't live in a City so we don't usually experience heavy traffic yet compared to commuting, moto gives faster travel.

These photos were taken in November 2021 when I went home earlier than usual so I could register myself for National ID.

Me and my husband's selfies while riding our moto.

A few months later, maybe due to rough roads that we pass by and probably due to mishandling, the side mirrors are easily broken. Not just that, the signal lights too!

My husband uses the moto almost everywhere! This is a snap I took when we were going to our farm. He runs errands with our moto too!

I used to drive our moto, yes, it has a clutch in it and I feel safer when I drive with motos with a clutch.

There were days when I wanted to drive myself everywhere but I still don't have a license to drive yet and getting one now is costly.

A picture of my reflection in the moto's side mirror.

But I lost my will to drive now, the highways are now 6 lanes and there are so many motos in our place that it looks like almost every worker has their own.

And oh, my husband used to do habal habal; that's the term used to theme who offers service to bring people to other places with their motos. One ride( even if it only takes two kilometers) costs 20 pesos. a great income for him to especially when it rains.

This will be all for now, thank you for passing by. Keep safe
