Guava leaves and young fruits

Hello everyone here in @aseanhive, I'm glad I am able to make a post again.Have you ever seen a guava tree? In case not, let me show you these photos.

This guava tree grows beside my mother in law's house. I took a photo of it for it's abundance in young fruit now. Guavas can bear fruit all year round here in the Philippines.

After the pollination of the flowers, small fruit begins to appear right where the flower used to be.

What's amazing about guava is that it is loaded with lots of vitamins and antibiotic properties. I once used to eat young fruits and leaves as a cure to my diarrhea. It really works like magic. My diarrhea stopped just an hour after I eat the young fruit and leaves. It tastes bitter.

As a kid, I remember boiling young guava leaves and used it to wash my wounds. It helps the wound to heal fast even if it was already infected. Our elders also used this method for those women who had just given birth specially those who gave birth at home.
