Yesterday I mixed and fried Pennywort and onion with tempura flour Today I also made a delicious snack. The snack I made was a kind of cake. This cake is called Semolina Cake. I also know from Google that Semolina Cake originated in Egypt. I initially thought this cake originated in india or indonesia. Semolina Cake is also very popular in my country. Although people in my country make Semolina Cake in a variety of flavors, I prefer carrot semolina cake and coconut semolina cake. Although I have eaten coconut semolina cake many times, I have only eaten carrot semolina cake twice. Although I prefer carrot semolina cake, I made coconut semolina cake today. Today I'm going to share with Hivers how to make a coconut semolina cake that I made today. Now I will first tell you the ingredients needed to make coconut semolina cake.
Ingredients-

ā¢ coconut
ā¢ Cashew nut
ā¢ butter
ā¢ jaggery (or) brown sugar
ā¢ poppy seed
ā¢ egg
ā¢ cooking oil
ā¢ dry grapes and Vegetable marrow candy
I use the cup shown above to measure the sugar. I put about two thirds of the sugar in the cup. I also added a little salt. As for jaggery, I only use about 10. I put it all in one pot. Using just that cup, I put three cups of water in the pot.
I use two eggs. I put the two eggs in a bowl and whipped them with a spoon. I also put the dried grapes and Cashew nut on a plate. I also scratched the coconut. I scratched the coconut in two ways. One is slightly larger and the other is powder. Now I'm ready to make a Semolina Cake.
For semolina powder, I use the brand shown above. I think it's made in India. It costs about $ 2 per pack. I fry the semolina powder in a pot. You do not need to add oil to fry these powders. No need to fry for a long time. It is fried for aroma only, so you can fry it for about 1 minute.
Then I put butter in a pot. I also added a little cooking oil. When the oil boils, I add the grated coconut and fry. It is important not to overcook the coconuts during frying. Once the grated coconut has turned saffron, it can be removed from the oil.
I put grated coconut powder in a pot putted with jaggery and sugar. After frying the coconut, I put the remaining oil in the pot.
When it boils, I put the fried semolina powder in the pot. Then I mixed it all up. I also put two whipped eggs in the pot and mixed them. I also put dried grapes, vegetable marrow candy and Cashew nut in the pot. But I forgot to take a picture.
Mix everything for 7min or 10min and you can put it in a bowl. Put it in a bowl and I sprinkled some poppy seeds on top. Sprinkle poppy seeds to make Semolina Cake taste better.
Once the semolina cake in the bowl has cooled, you can eat it. I eat semolina cake with fried coconut and dry grapes. The taste of coconut semolina cake is very good.
