👝Making a crochet bag for my mom using nylon yarn👝

Hello my loving Asean Hive community,

Welcome back to my new blog. How are you and everything is fine? These days, I see news of floods in some countries, including our country. I live in a high area, so I don't experience floods. How is the situation in your area?

I haven't been active on Hive for about 4 months. The reason is that I had a bad health incident in the past few days. At that time, my health was very bad, so I took a break from work and reduced my screen time. That's the reason why I wasn't active on Hive. I'm feeling better now so I'm trying to get back to posting like before.

Today I'm going to show you a crochet bag that I made for my mom. When choosing the yarn to make this little bag, I chose Nylon yarn. The main reason for choosing nylon yarn is to make the bag sturdy.

🌼Materials-🌼

  • Nylon yarn
  • cotton yarn
  • hook
  • maker

I chose the 3mm size hook.

As for the nylon yarn, I chose brown color.

First I made single crochet using hook and yarn. I made the single crochet pattern to the length I wanted. Then I attached the marker to one end and used the single crochet pattern again on the opposite side.

In this way, I used a single crochet pattern along the length, and made a semi-circle on both ends. That way, I made the width I wanted effective.

In the next step, I marked four points in the four corners and made single crochets again according to those points. However, in the middle, I created a small flower pattern.

That way, I made it as high as I wanted.

In the last step, I created little handles on the four corners of the bag. Then sew 2 handles on the same side with a needle. I have listed some pictures of the bag below.

In fact, it took me about 4 months to complete this bag. And I planned to make this post public for more than 4 months. The reason I'm late is because of my health, and in the next few days, I think I'll be posting about plants in my garden, recipes, and papercrafts. Due to my neurosis I won't be able to make crochet posts anymore. Below are the pictures I took today.
