Today the weather is nice in my town. I have not picked chayote fruit from the chayote plant my father planted for several days. So today my dad and I picked some chayote fruit from the backyard together. I dare not go to the backyard alone. This is because snakes are often seen there. We have been planting chayote trees in our house for about two years.
My father planted only four chayote plants in total. Although only four plants are planted, about half of my small yard is occupied by chayote and pumpkin leaves. Not only in our yard, these leave vines can be found in some places around our home. Chayote fruits are also sometimes found outside our yards. I think it's good that these fruits are sometimes out there. Because those who need it can easily pick it up.
When I picked those fruits today, I saw a lot of small chayote, as shown in the picture above. These small chayote fruits will soon grow. I left those small chayote fruits, saying that I would pick them up when they grew up.
Today I was able to pick a lot of chayote fruits. I searched a lot for some chayote fruit. It is a little difficult to find them. Because they hide among the leaves. So, my dad and I had a hard time finding the chayote between the leaves.
The chayote fruits I showed in the picture above were not hard to find. They hang among the leaves like light bulbs. So, I could easily pick the chayote there. Many chayote fruits are gathered near this place. I got about 10 chayote from there. The chayote pictures I picked from other places are also shown above.
My father planted two varieties of chayote. One kind of chayote fruit is with thorns. The other is smooth. I have to be careful when holding a chayote with thorns. The chayotes I show below are the largest chayote pictures.
Today my father and I picked a lot of chayote fruits. We was able to pick about 80 chayote today. In our country, five chayote fruits are worth about $ 1. I share some chayote to my neighbors. I sell some chayote to vendors.
Some chayotes even have roots. I replanted the chayote with those roots. That is all I have to say for today. I also saw some pumpkins today. I'll tell you more when I go picking pumpkins. Thank you all.🍇
