I have always loved making DIY and origami. I also enjoy teaching kids how to make origami. Today I am going to show you how to make a leaf shape with color paper. I used to teach kindergarten children how to make this leaf. They really like how to make leaves with color paper. They make colored paper leaves and decorate the leaves themselves in the classroom. They decorate a lot of origami made of colored paper, not just a piece of leaf in a class. This leaf-shaped origami is sure to be easy for even a kid to make. Let me tell you the necessary materials first.
Materials
- color paper
- Pencil
- The ruler
- Scissors
- Glue
Step-1
First, I folded the color paper in half in the middle and folded it into a triangle.
Step-2
Draw a line at the close edge of the color paper.
Step-3
I drew parallel lines as shown in the picture.
Step-4
I cut the lines I drew with scissors.
Step-5
Then I set the color paper to its original shape.
Step-6
I glued a piece of colored paper on the left side and a piece of colored paper on the right side.
Step-7
I turned to the opposite side and glued the two pieces of paper together as mentioned above. Do the same with the paper until it runs out.
Once you have completed step 7, you will get a beautiful leaf shape. I also made a blue one.
Tie a piece of string around the top of the piece of paper and attach some small balls. I hung the two leaves on a dry branch.
