It was early in the morning and i was waiting @redkeng3 to hunt some fish at wet market . It was public holiday and not much people come to town . Usually , the town already busy if it not at the public holiday.
I guess im come to town so early because @redkeng still didnt finish his shift . So, I decided to wait him at one of the legendary restaurant at town . It was one of still surviving restaurant until now . I still remember that this restaurant was there when i was studying in university long time ago , and the vibes from the restaurant still the same.
KEDAI KOPI KINABALU -
Im ordering a glass of ice coffee just to killing my time waiting my brother. The taste of this coffee still the same as i can remember .
While waiting , im enjoying the view around the restaurant that remind me about the old day.
Other that the restaurant vibes and view , im enjoying to watch the birds flying around the restaurant .
Few minutes after waiting , my brother come . We eat our breakfast before heading to the wet market . One of their signature food is the pork noodles. I love it because it was delicious and cheaper than other place in Kota Kinabalu.
HEADING TO WET MARKET // MISSION FAIL
After enjoy our breakfast and pay for it . We go to the wet market . Unfortunately , the kind of fish we looking for is out of stock. I didnt know that continue raining will make getting the fish is so hard. Even they got stock , they are selling the fish with extraordinary price.
To make sure that the problem is the rain , we next building where all the ship docking and unloading their haul from the sea to be distributed to the wet market vendor. Well , checking those place , we comfirm that the fish is very hard to get during the raining day.
MISSION FAILED
Today mission consider fail because we didnt get the fish . The fish was called basungan which the price before is just around RM2 perkg. Now , the price become much expensive at RM8 perkg . But since there is no basungan at this time , we have to buy the expensive fish to be bring at home .
It was fun experience to watch people dealing with each other and come to new building that i never been there before . This is my post for this time , see you in my next post.
