MINI HONG KONG IN SABAH
Sandakan, which used to be known as Elopura, which means "Beautiful City" was the first capital city of Sabah before being moved to Kota Kinabalu.
It is also known as little Hong Kong, as there were a lot of immigrants from Hong Kong during British colonialists' time in this country. You might can feel Hong Kong vibes in those photos .
The best thing about this city is that the authority didn't destroy the main city of Sandakan for city development instead of making another new city in another area, so we can still see historical value in this town. It was sad but true that other cities in our country have destroyed a lot of old, good buildings to make new complexes and shopping mall .
I hope this place will continue to preserve its historical value so the next generation can come and see how lucky we are to have such a good and better building.
