Today is Khmer New Year and my birthday too. I miss my Khmer family so much. I miss when we always meet together during this time every year, but I can’t see them two years already. Khmer New Year is three days long, and we normally we meet together with families. In the morning we cook food to take to a pagoda, and we travel to visit many different tourist areas.
At night we love to play music and dance together. Some families love to make parties and sing karaoke, and some people like to play powder when they see other people. Some people like to have water fights too. We have so many different of popular games to play to celebrate New Year. This makes me miss my homeland right now.
I'm getting blessings from the new year angel 😇.

Before our family go to visit Angkor Wat. We ride Khmer tuk-tuk, but there were too much people in Angkor Wat so we did not go inside and we go back home.

This is first day Khmer new year. This year there is COVID, so the people in Cambodia are happy to celebrate at home. They can’t go visit everywhere this year.
