I made Cambodian-style fried spring rolls for Hive Top Chef 👩🍳. Some people use pork and some make vegan like me too.
I love to eat these with Banh Sung in my country so much. This food can be made from taro, jicama, cassava and sweet potato. I like to make with taro and jicama but not have now.
All my food is all-natural Ital foods, and I make with my own hands in Suriname.
This is Banh Sung with Sayor or fried spring rolls, it’s absolutely delicious 😋.
👩🍳 Deep-Fried Spring Rolls (Ital) Recipe 🔪
វិធីធ្វើសាយ៉រ រឺ ណែមបំពង
- spring-roll wrappers
- 200g sweet potato
- 10 pieces of wood-ear fungus
- 1 small carrot
- 1 big red onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- oil for frying
Soak wood-ear fungus in water until soft.
Step 1Grate potato and carrot.
Slice red onion, garlic and wood-ear fungus very small.
Step 2Then put salt and black pepper and mix together.
Step 3Then take spring rolls wrappers and put sweet potatoes and close it.
Step 4After fry it until brown.
I ate these spring rolls with pickled papaya carrot and cucumber and with noodles also it’s really delicious.
👩🍳 Papaya Pickle (Ital) Recipe 🔪
- 1 small ripe papaya
- 2 small cucumbers
- 1 carrot
- 1 big red onion, if small 2
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 chili pepper or to taste
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp palm sugar
- 3 tbsp vinegar
Grate the papaya and carrot. Cut cucumber, red onion, chili and garlic. Then put salt, sugar, vinegar, chili mix the ingredients together and to taste.
We can eat now or waiting one hour it’s delicious more. It’s similarly to make but delicious I can eat it a lot. Have a great day to you all 😘🤗.
