Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
This weekend I am out of town. It is unplanned trip actually. Because, a friend of mine messaged me last Friday that her family will be going home to the province of his husband. She asked me if I wanted to go with them. Of course, I said yes! It will be my second time to go with them if I will go this time. So, I asked her when and what time we will travel. Guess what?! She said, we will be leaving Saturday early dawn. She wanted me to wake up at 4am and be ready before 5am. Oh my! I am not prepared. 😁 Upon knowing that we will be leaving early dawn, I hurry going to supermarket to buy something like bottled water, coffee, biscuits, candy and junk foods. 😁 When I am back in my boarding house, I am running out of time. 😁 Because, I have to wash the clothes I soak in the morning. So, after eating dinner I hurried washing my clothes. When I'm done washing clothes, I started packing my things for the unplanned trip. 😀 Then, I was able to sleep at midnight. I only have few hours left for sleeping time.
At past 4am, my friend was calling me to wake me up. I told here to call me so that I won't be late. Actually, the call was an hour late. Because, we agreed that she gonna wakes me up at 3am. 😁 But, it doesn't happen. It's almost 5am that we're awake. Then, we are all in a hurry preparing ourselves to go.
Fast forward, we meet up at Gaisano Grand Mall to find a vehicle that will bring us to Cebu South Bus Terminal. We were not able to ride a taxi and free ride. What we did, we ride a jeep going to San Carlos. Unfortunately the jeep stops at Colon street and park there waiting for passengers. So, we step down the jeep and just continue by walking to the Cebu South Bus terminal. It takes us few minutes in walking before we arrived the bus terminal.
While we passby at the City Mall, I requested from my friend to take picture of me for a remembrance and for blogging purposes. 😁 The said mall is just few steps away from the bus terminal. I am grateful that we are now near the terminal.
When we arrived at the terminal, we are checked by the guard on duty and our bags was checked also. I noticed something new inside the terminal. There is a counter to purchase tickets of our place of destination. My friend is the one who fall in line in the counter to buy tickets for us. While we wait for her at the waiting corner.
The other new thing that I noticed inside is the scanner entrance. I thought we gonna scan the ticket we purchased. It only says to scar the suroy suroy card. 😁
So, when we got our ticket we go directly to the bus gate. We fall in line in the gate of the Bato/Oslob destination. Because, we gonna ride a bus going to Bato. It will passby Alcoy.
When we go inside the bus, our tickets were checked and taken by the conductor. After checking, the driver started to on the engine and we go out the Cebu South Bus terminal. Our trip ang long hours of journey started. As we are on the road, the rain is on and off. I have shared here some random photos while riding a bus. It takes us more than three hours of journey going to Alcoy. My butt feels uncomfortable sitting for long hours. I was able to sleep while on the bus. I also eat some snacks I have and sleep again after. 😁
Even we had a tiring trip, it is worth it when we arrived at Alcoy. The place is beautiful, calm, peaceful and relaxing. I love the coolness and fresh air that the green plants and trees provides.
From the highway, we only walked going to the house of my friend. We passby at the Alcoy Church because their house is at the back of the Church.
When we arrived at their house, we eat lunch because it's lunch time already. It is almost 1pm that time. After eating lunch, we take a rest for awhile then we go out to look around. I gonna share it on my next blog. See you!
