Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
Today is Saturday. No work and a rest day for me. I am here at my brother's place. I am playing with my nephew the whole morning and in the afternoon we sleep. As a tine of writing we just wake up. My nephew is now drinking his milk. I am thinking what to share today. So, I checked the photos I got from my old phone of what I can post today. I still have cooking session I wasn't able to share it here. This time I will be sharing my experiment of cooking sweet and sour pork.
At first the ingredients I am about to add in cooking sweet and sour pork are only in the picture below without green peas.
While I am looking for another ingredients I can add for what I am going to cook, I saw a sachet of green peas. So, I added it. 😊
Ingredients:
- 1/4 kg marinated pork in vinegar with calamansi juice and a bit of salt
- 4 pcs tomatoes sliced circular
- 1 pc onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic chopped
- an inch ginger sliced
- 4 stalks of lemon grass
- 5 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 sachet green peas
- 1 sachet oyster sauce
- 1 sachet magic sarap
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- a glass of water
Procedures:
- I stir fry first the spices such as onion, garlic, ginger and tomatoes. Set aside.
- In same pan, I put the marinated pork and let it boil.
- When it boils, I added a glass of water, the soy sauce, lemon grass, sugar, green peas, and the stir fry spices excluding the garlic.
- Let it boil. Add soy sauce and magic sarap. And let it cook.
- When cooked, remove from fire. Transfer in a bowl and sprinkle the stir fry garlic. Serve while hot with rice. 😋
That's the yummy sweet and sour pork I cooked the past night.
Have a Blessed Saturday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
