Hope all are safe and well!
My first day at home in Leyte is such a great day. The weather is so nice. My niece and I agreed to go to the sea to look for foods. 🤗
We went to the sea to look for some seashells. But, we never get some because it's getting high tide. I only took some pictures instead. 😁
It is my brother who got some seashells. And we go back home as the sea water is getting high. Look how the beautiful the weather is while I am at the sea. I am able to capture some views and some sea creatures.
As we get back home, we feel so hungry. My brother cook some popcorn for our snacks.
Then, I boiled the seashells that my brother got. I will include it in cooking vegetable mix as our viand for dinner.
When the seashells was cooked, I wash it with clean water get rid of the sea sands inside the seashells. Then, cut it into small pieces. I also prepared some ingredients in cooking the mix vegetables.
When everything are all prepared, I saute the onion, garlic, tomato and seashells meat.
I added oyster sauce and stir well.
I added the mix vegstables.
I added soy sauce and mix well.
I added a glass of water, a bit of salt and some oyster sauce. Mix it and simmer until cook.
That's our viand for lunch on my very first day at home. 🥰
In the afternoon, I watch our pig and chickens while eating. I took some pictures of them. They are just at the back of our home. 🤗
When our pig and chickens are done eating, my niece and I plays sungka. It is a popular game in Philippines. It is composed of holes filled with some stones or seashells and we have to distribute it to the holes until no more is left. We enjoyed much playing it. I remember my childhood days. I love playing it before.
My niece didn't win with me all play rounds. 😁😁
After playing, we had a rest and some chitchats. 🥰
At night, my mother cook some viands for our dinner meal. We have omelet anchovies and sautéed veggies.
It was an awesome first day at home with my family. 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️ See you dear hivers on my second day blog. 🤗
