Tote/Sling Bag for My Daughter

Hello everyone! This is now my finished product. I was excited to finish it that I had 'overtime' every now and then while watching my favorite "tele-novela" on TV. I did not follow any design but rather went with the flow on how it would look like with my sunflower inspired design.

After presenting the details on my recent post, I continued in making the side padding.

I attached the granny squares first.

After patching on both ends, I continued crocheting in circular motion until I reached the desired lengths. As I went along, I decided to stop up to 12-inch height then I proceeded in making me the straps for about 6 inches up.

I crocheted a bias on the edging.

I twined cords for the sling.

I attached the handle then I folded the edging again to form a crocheted blanket stitch to make the edge look heavy.

See, it looked more defined and presentable.

Summing it all, it took one week from day one of making my masterpiece.

Additional danglings will complete a fine finish plus additional linings inside for durability.

I had been into bag making in various designs and textures, from fabrics, leatheretts and pure leathers. My knowledge in this aspect saved my day that making this tote bag is not that complicated. The difference is that crocheted bag takes a longer time. Well the challenge is there!

I hope you like it guys and thank you for dropping by my page.
