Installing a new seat cover

The bike park at my housing area is an open space parking. A few months back, my scooter seat cover got scratched by a cat. It began with a minor tear, but the tears grew wider over time.

Since it is an open parking area and lacks cover, my scooter is constantly exposed to both rain and sunlight. Whenever it is raining, the rainwater seeps into the seat from the tear.

My pants would have a wet patch due to sitting on the seat. I have meant to go to the bike workshop for quite some time now. However, my hectic work schedule is a drawback.

I was on my way to the customer site for a meeting that was schedule for 10 in the morning. However, while on my way, I received a call from my colleagues. She said that the meeting need to be postponed because the customer has to take an emergency leave.

When I pickup her call, I was coincidentally filling up my scooter fuel at a Petrol Station in Sentul. Since I had some time to spare, I decided to go to my usual bike workshop in Sentul.

There were not many customer by the time I reached at the bike workshop. I straight away went to the counter and asked the sales person for a replacement seat cover for my scooter.

He informed me about two types of seat covers that is available. The first option is a standard seat cover which priced at MYR30, while the other is a premium-grade cover that comes at double the cost.

I opted for the premium-grade cover, and made payment using QRpay option. After making the payment, the sales person passed the replacement seat cover to the mechanic.

Since there is not many customer, the mechanic able to changing my scooter seat cover immediately. Within 15 minutes, the old seat cover was replaced with a new one. Now I don't have to worry about having a wet patch on my pants 😁
