Tonight I made a post about my activities in the afternoon in a village that I visited, this afternoon, December 29, Thursday, I and some friends visited the outskirts of the irrigation canal and saw some children taking a bath, I approached the where the children took a bath to be able to take a closer look at the children's activities, I did not forget to open my smartphone camera to then take pictures of the children's joy, I saw the child bathing in the irrigation canal happily, with clear water and fast flowing, they jump into the irrigation flow with joy, it seems these children have often bathed here, because they are very good at swimming and swiftly jump and climb back to the land, I also saw them and felt the joy of my childhood in the past who also often bathed in irrigation canals or in rivers.
Because bathing in irrigation canals or in rivers has been a daily activity for villagers from time immemorial, because these canals are not only a means of conveying water to the rice fields, they are also places for villagers to do activities, such as bathing, washing clothes, washing motorbikes, bathing livestock, and so on. also other activities, because the water is also clear, moreover the water in this channel is very large and flows fast, as in other areas in Asia or in Indonesia, places like this are widely used by various community activities around the place, it is understood that most of the villagers it has become a habit to use traditional things like this, when it comes to bathing, although simple bathrooms are already in the homes of each resident, but maybe because there is a nearby water source, the tradition of bathing or other activities around irrigation or rivers cannot be eliminated.
The water from this irrigation canal comes from a river far away, and the river has its tip at the foot of a mountain that is also far away, but I noticed that there is always plenty of water from this irrigation canal, enough to flow into the people's rice fields.
After we saw the activities of the children taking a bath, we went to comb the irrigation fields, while enjoying the afternoon, the sun was shining brightly until the afternoon, it seemed the weather had entered the dry season, because it was the end of December, although so far the weather was not too hot. , but the sun shines brightly this week, this is called the transitional season, the weather transitions from the rainy season to the dry season, this situation is very susceptible to fever or flu, it is necessary to maintain health during the transitional season like this, I also yesterday health had decreased, and my friends also experienced the same thing.
