Water poppy
Water Poppy have dark black stamen. Since the flowers are bright yellow, the dark black stamen show off in the most attractive manner. Water Poppy grow in wet areas like pond, lakes and rivers.
Well, I have visited my neighbor’s garden and I also went to see the lake near their house. The things that caught my attention was a very beautiful Water Poppy with a bright color and gorgeous texture.
I had already seen this flower on other occasions but until now I haven’t had it as my own yet, but I would buy this flower one day when I have a chance.
Dendrobiums or dendrobium orchids are one of the most popular orchid types among home growers and orchid enthusiasts. Today, I introduce you the two colors of Orchids which is pink and white.
Pink Orchids Dendrobium
Many dendrobium types exist, and they vary in cultural requirements. Some species thrive best in hot conditions, some prefer cooler environments. I never thought that this flower is edible, I just knew it yesterday when I do some research related to this. The blooms of all orchids are considered safe for consumption, but some species can also irritate the stomach.
Dendrobiums need lots of light, but not direct sun. A lightly shaded south window is the best suggestions for people who grow this flowers.
The same as the pink one. They grow near each other, this color also require plenty of light, with shade during the hottest part of a bright sunny day.
Water lilies
Water lilies can mean many things in different areas of the world, but they have special significance in Buddhism.
For these religions, the water lily symbolizes resurrection, because these flowers close up at night and reopen in the morning, similar to a spiritual rebirth.
This flower is a cosmopolitan that being a plant type that grows almost everywhere.
In Cambodia, you can easily find it at the pagoda and lake especially in a small village. I am not sure whether people grow it or it grow naturally.
Sometime it seems like there is no one who stay near the lake, but I do see a lot of water lily watboth white and pink color.
In general, they grow in ponds and lakes more often than rivers, and that seems to be because, they don’t like rapidly moving or splashing water.
