Have you tried Dim Sum in your life? If you ever visit Miri city, this is one of the best places to get your plate of Dim Sum. Everyday, this eatery is full of hungry customers all getting their hands ready on a plate of Dim Sum in a bamboo container.

PELITA 2020 CAFE

Som mai

This is one of the flagship menu item of this cafe. Wrapped in Wonton skin is minced meat steamed. One bamboo container includes three Som mais.

The kitchen is always busy. This is one of those places where they hire an army of workers. An army. I think at around 30 at least.

They have three shop lots. Other than Dim Sums, you can order chicken rice, economy rice, noodles and many more.

Prawn dumplings

Inside are steamed prawns. Super duper chewy. Dim Sum is like Sushi. Each Dim Sum has its own characteristics, smell, colour.

Century old egg with meat

Yes, that is called a century old egg. However, it is not exactly a century old. Duck eggs. Why are they dark in colour?

We ordered four containers. She also ordered a bowl of porridge.

haha.. Just joking. Just to make you read. Inside the porridge are bits of the century egg. It adds flavour to the porridge.

This is a busy cafe. It is always full . Monday to Sunday. Weekends are the busiest. Some of the customers here have to stand there and wait for a seat.

Open air no air con

Just fans. People here love that open air feeling.
