It's a Sunday night. I went to Aoki to eat with my wife. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants. After work, sometimes, I come to this particular restaurant to eat dinner. Let's go and try out at Aoki here.

What is this conveyor belt doing here?

There are two options for customers to order here. One is by ordering from the menu and the other is to get the plates from the conveyor belt.

Usually, I leave it to her to order. I just eat anything she orders.

I order for myself a plate of Soft shell crab fried rice with egg on top.

The egg on top is a perfect match for the fried rice. The egg melts into the rice as I use my spoon and dig into the rice. Delicious combination. I have eaten this a couple of times here at Aoki. It tastes amazing.

Prawn tempuras

These are some of the hardest types of things to be good at making. It's not easy to get the crispiness right with flour and prawns together.

These are breaded prawns. Breaded ones are more compact. They taste slightly like corn dogs.

Sashimi

These are quite delicious. I usually order sashimi at a sushi restaurant. We ordered two sets which were combined into one plate.

My wife is happy after this meal.
