Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
✍️ Hello everyone. Yesterday I had the opportunity to travel and visit the temple in muang district, chiang mai province. Yesterday's trip, I didn't drive to travel by myself. But I went together with the family of my wife's relatives. The first trip we traveled was Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Which, located on Si Wichai Road, Suthep Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is located on a hill. The journey by car is about 14 kilometers up this hill.
I think many people have heard or know or have been to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. And I've been to this temple a long time ago. This trip to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is therefore another visit, the third time. But this time is another visit in 10 years. Since A.D. 2012, the 2nd visit to the temple and A.D. 2022, the latest time was the 3rd time. After 10 years, this temple is still beautiful and impressive to me. So I want to share my trip to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for friends to see. Invite friends to watch.
✍️ When parking at the parking lot below the temple. Friends can go up to pay respect to the relics in the pagodas and various Buddha images on the top of the hill by walking up the 306 steps or taking the electric tram. The electric tram costs 20 baht for Thais and 50 baht for foreigners, by open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This time we went upstairs where the relics are located by electric tram.
✍️ The main highlight of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Of course, is the gold color stupa that contains the relics. This is stupa that contains the relics is a chiang saen style stupa with a high base and an octagonal bell indent. Lanna style construction.
✍️ In addition, within the temple grounds there are many buddha images for Buddhists to pay homage and tourists to take pictures of beautiful buddha images, many of them. I took a sample of these Buddha images for my friends to see the beautiful.
