Haha, I once had a pair of dedicated cockroach smashers 😆. We have a similar system in our house, and as flip-flops degrade in quality, they get demoted to be used for shorter and shorter distances. When a pair of flip-flops is nearly dead, they are used to walk from the house to the bathroom before dying a long and slow death.
