Hello everybody,
Last Sunday morning while I was attending to my flower container garden, hubby told us to be ready we will travel. Hmm, he was just bored just at home but we obliged, I stopped what I was doing and prepared everything we need then it showered a little bit. Even if it was raining we still went on. We first fetched my daughter and her family in Lapu-lapu City. About almost two hours drive from Carcar City. I told them about Lakeview.
My best friend forever and my high school classmate, Elena, posted their family getaway at Lakeview Le Jardin in Facebook. With their picture posted, I showed hubby their picture and suggested we can also visit there someday.
So, that Sunday was the day even though it was raining.
And, the way was foggy...
Zero visibility at the mountain sides, so, my son drove slowly.
But, all of us were very excited with the fog and windy cold weather even if we off the car aircon.
When we arrived, it was almost dark and raining. We parked at their parking lot, the server welcomed us carrying big umbrellas. They helped hubby to walked to their patio.
All of us liked and appreciated the place, the mountain view, the place, the coldness and we were hungry much hahaha. So, we ordered from the menu and we were surprised how quick they served. Hot choco for granddaughters Lian and Avril.
And, all ordered the pumpkin soup! Of course with our shivering feelings...
I love how they prepared the pumpkin soup with mozzarella cheese. It was sticky when we ate.
For us hubby and I just ordered the burger and heineken beer.
Then the rest for my daughter, son-in-law, my son and grandson, they ordered bacon with rice.
Oh, my granddaughter Avril added Carbonara.

Then, I roamed around took pictures that makes me smile.

Flowers of different kinds abound the area I will share it next post.
We all enjoyed our short time get away here. We would like to stay longer yet but they close at 8pm. On our way home, the road was dark and foggy so the driver just drived slowly. Then, we passed by the fresh vegetable stall by the road side. My daughter and I bought tomatoes, eggplants, lettuce, cabbage, pechay, chayote and bananas. While the owner was weighing the vegetables oh la la my legs stiffen because of the cold wind but I enjoyed it, ha ha ha.
Next time we will come back here earlier and in good weather so that we can view the lake of Toledo City.
