Side hustle or side gig or side job is an additional job a person takes to have additional income to supplement or help the primary income of an individual or family as a whole.
I didn't have an idea to share my side hustles here in hive but ASEAN HIVE community challenge #44 about side hustles encouraged me to share it here and this is my participation.
Most people do have side hustles. Nowadays, I can say that side hustle is a need. Yes we need it in order to supplement our primary income because primary income most of the time is not enough for our daily needs.
We have different side hustles and I will be sharing mine today. Also, I will be happy to know yours too.
Without further ado, here are my side hustles:
LOAD RETAILER
I have been selling load since December 06, 2012. Might be you'll ask, "Wow! You still remember it?" Yes I still remember it because it was written in the cover of my notebook where I list all load credits.
At first, I decided to buy load retailer sim to save something for personal and family use only. I first bought Smart retailer sim. Until such time my church mate and my workmate will request a load and will pay me later. Then, they are asking if I do have globe load. I don't have globe load that time so I then decided to purchase Globe retailer sim.
Last year, I also register for DITO retailer. So, as of now I am a load retailer for SMART, TNT, SUN, GLOBE, TM, DITO and CIGNAL.
Being a load retailer won't give you a big profit but having atleast 50.00 ($1) a day is far better than nothing.
My common customer is our neighbor, siblings, friends, church mate, my previous workmate and my husband's workmate.
One of my marketing strategy is LOAD NOW! PAY LATER! They can text, call or chat me anytime except during Sabbath day if they need load and they will pay me the next day or on their salary day.
I really provide a notebook where I list their load credits. A picture above is an example of it.
ONLINE SELLING
Online selling nowadays is so common where almost everything can be sold through online. I also go with the flow and use my social media account to sell anything I can resell online.
I am an online reseller. I am reselling anything from food, clothing, accessories, and many more.
Pure wild honey
I am selling pure wild honey for how many years now. Before I have a supplier who's getting honey from the hunter but as time goes by, a hunter saw my posts in the social media group and message me offering their harvested honey. So, I grab the opportunity and I am now direct to the hunter.
If you would ask, I am selling that pure wild honey for only 200.00 ($4) per bottle.
Having a repeat buyers will make an online sellers happy and satisfied. I am really happy receiving a message asking if still I have pure wild honey and they wanted to purchase again.
Here's my latest order. She is a repeat buyer that will just chat or text me if they wanted to buy again.
Anything that can be sold online.
Aside from honey I am also selling kitchen wares, clothes, water bottles, tents, mosquito tents, pillow and many more to mention. I have a supplier who is just posting their items in a group chat and I am grabbing their pictures, post it in my social media and if I have order I will go to the shop and buy the order of my customer.
My husband also helps me in my online selling because most of the time he will be the one to pick the orders in the shop and he will deliver it to the customers.
BLOGGING

When @tpkidkai introduce hive to me it became one of my side hustles. I am thankful to him and the rest of hive family for guiding and supporting me on my hive journey.
I never thought that I came this far but because you are here reading what I have written, you are encouraging me to go on, to keep writing and to keep sharing my experiences and thoughts in life. I thank you so much for being here.

Side hustles help us in some ways. I am happy having it because in my own little way I am able to help my husband in our needs. Not that big but enough to give me a sense of satisfaction that even I am a full time mom and a housewife, I can still help my husband in financial aspect.
