Cayenne Pepper Jengkol Cuisine

Good morning everyone, enjoy your holiday with your family and people who always love you. Always healthy and able to do activities again the next day.

Jengkol is a tropical plant that is widely grown in my country Indonesia, especially in my area Aceh, the fruit of jengkol is a horticultural plant that bears fruit once a year while the fruit has a season like durian and several other cultural hotel fruits in my area jengkol is in the community of all those who are quite widely traded because it is one or also includes the favorite vegetables of most people in my area.

This morning my dish for my family is Jengkol, because today is a holiday, which is a day when some people don't have their usual activities, so I made Jengkol sambal for my family, because this Jengkol has a very pungent odor in both the mouth and urine after consumption. on normal days it is possible that many people are not comfortable being close to us. actually I used to not like jengkol, after I started a family, over time I liked it because innately my husband and also my husband's family all like jengkol.

We can find this jengkol in the tropics, in the area where I live a lot of jengkol growth, because this jengkol is a plant that is not too difficult to care for. This jengkol has a myriad of benefits for the human body and also does not escape side effects, some of the benefits are can improve blood flow, has lots of minerals, there are some who say that jengkol has more benefits than green beans. The side effect of this jengkol, if consumed in excess, it will cause crystal stones which can also inhibit bowel movements and urine disposal.

Here I choose jengkol that is not old, because it is not used for stewing jengkol but for making chili jengkol chili sauce.

Materials needed :

  • Jengkol 1 kg
  • Cayenne pepper 15 pieces
  • 4 cloves of red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • Oil Eat Adequately

Put it in the blender and grind it

First Step

First, peel the jengkol skin, cut into small pieces, wash with water, fry until brown, then drain.

Step Two

After that, the oil from the frying of the jengkol was stir-fried with the chili sauce until cooked for about 15 minutes.

Add half a teaspoon of salt.

Final Stage

Finally, add the drained jengkol into the pan, stir until evenly distributed.

Dishes are ready to be served, delicious to eat while hot.

Sambal jengkol cayenne pepper is delicious to eat with rice that is still warm, Sambal jengkol cayenne pepper is my husband's and family's favorite. Unfortunately can not be eaten in excess because it is not good for health. And be careful when you consume jengkol fruit. I am very happy to be able to export my daily activities and hobbies on the Hive blog.

I think this post is here, because I'm still very new and need to learn a lot from my seniors, thanks to my husband, friends, and all of you Hive users who have become the best role models for me. See you in the next post.
