Candles - represents the light of path straight to a successful Life. This is very important to us, to see the good opportunities and we can perfectly lead towards success.
Flowers- represents the love to each other. Love is very important to all of us here so that we will keep the peace, calm and unity not only for the Our Family but also to other people.
Foods- represents the abundance and bountiful needs of the Family. This is also very important in order for us to live very well.
We started to sing a birthday songs this morning, at exactly 3 AM. The place was very cold and everyone was present during the activity. Few children was also there singing their birthday song for the celebrant. Just I said, we offered candles, flowers and the food will be given after the mañanita. We sing 6 kinds of Visayan birthday song, and the birthday celebrant was very surprised and happy. Her husband and Grand daughter was also awake to see the us singing a birthday song for the celebrant.
My relatives was also there joining to sing a Mañanita birthday song. They also brought candles, flowers and guitar to make our song very gracefully. We are so very lucky that the weather was very calm during our activity. We are also very lucky that we have relatives who knows how to play guitar instrument, it keeps the flow of the rhythm of the song very better.
After the Mañanita, each of us Greeted her a Happy birthday with giving a flowers and candles. We also wish and prayed for her to have more blessings and Grace to come. Doing this kind of activities is very fun and proud. We can share our love to others even if it is our relatives, Families or Friends. We've done this 5 years already and in fact we already went to far away places just to do this mañanita activity. There are lots of people who did a request to sing a birthday song for their love one.
The birthday celebrant was very thankful about the surprised we done to her. She was also very thankful for our kindness and Generosity and to show our love her. After the Greetings, prayers and other things, we started to give this simple but delicious food. This is very perfect for morning snacks. We brought Biko, sliced bread and bihon for the celebrant and it also includes coffee.
This is only a kind of simple celebration but full of love and happiness to each other.
