The first green vegetable that I am going to share is this one. All of us knows about string beans vegetables and there are lots of dish can be cook out of this beans. The beans is inside of this long green string beans skin and it can also be eaten. Some of this kind of vegetables are long and we called it meter beans. It is very popular and common here at the supermarket and it costs up to 45 Pesos per Kilo. This beans is very easy to propegate and the only thing we need is to search some areas good for planting string beans.
In some places they called this Repolyo or in English term we called this Cabbage. It contains green leafy vegetables and the shape is round because of the leaves. This is also good for cabbage stew added with sardines and other assorted vegetables. The outer layer parts of cabbage will be removed if there is any black spots can be seen. Rabbits loves to eat cabbage too but there are only few people can buy this because it is very expensive. It will cost up to 85 pesos per kilo.
Pechay is known as rich in fiber veggies. Everybody loves to eat pechay especially those vegetarian people. This is perfect for adding in the meat stew and their are lots of people who owned some eateries here serve some delicious dish contains pechay vegetables. By planting this is very tricky and needs a tight attention. It needs to water daily, checking those stems and leaves everyday and must be cultivated and remove the wild grasses surrounds at this vegetables. It should be planted in hot and directly at the sunlight. Pechay vegetables are slightly expensive and it can cost up to 85 Pesos per Kilo.
In local term we called it Bagiou beans. It is quite similar of string beans but this vegetables is short and it contains white seeds inside of it. The beans of this vegetables is perfect for apritada and calderita dish. Others cooked the beans to make an ice cream. This is also popular and common here and it cost up to 55 Pesos per kilo. Most of this plant can be grown and cultivated at the mountainous places and it should be planted in an open areas were the sunlight will directly shine in this plant.
This are some of the green vegetables can be found here in the Supermarket. All of this are rich in fiber, very nutritious and good for the kids. Color green represents the relaxing views and life, our Nature gives us a clean and green surroundings to make us feel cool and relaxing always.
