Foo Fee (now with new menu)

This was NOT my favorite coffee shop until my recent visit. Part of the reason I do not like was, they operate as semi self service. Which means after you write down your order in a piece of paper, then you'll have to walk to the counter, make payment before they send food over.

Quite frankly, it's inconvenient doing it that way. Who wants to comfortably sit down in a restaurant, and still need to get up and make payment? In my opinion, directing customer order and pay before sitting down, is probably a better way to do. Anyway, with the new digital menu and wireless ordering in place, we can now sit down comfortably, order the food online and make payment via cell phone.

May be the change does cause some "inconvenient" to the old schooler who refused to order online, it's actually less crowded then usual. Or, it is possible with the new order online in place, the queue to counter has lessen and food serve efficiently.

The girl was not very hungry since she had heavy breakfast. She got herself toast bread with kaya butter spread. I already know their bread is crunchy, and the way it absorb butter and the sweet pandan leaf paste(we call it Kata here), this thing can be very "explosive" if you know what I mean.

Junior too, had a huge Subway sandwich, therefore he opt for a piece of egg tart. I haven't try the egg tart here, by the look of it, it supposed to be very fluffy and sweet.

The home minister doesn't feel too well, and therefore she ordered a bowl of seafood tofu noodle soup. The portion is quite generous and there's enough greens to go with the noodles. The seafood tofu, forget about seafood. We know it's only a regular tofu with infused "sea" flavor to it.

With a dash of fried garlic accompany this bowl. The home minister sent me a scope of it for sampling purposes, the crunchy garlic sparkling inside my mouth make this boring dish a pleasant surprise.

I know Nestle Milo is a world known malt chocolate drink product around the world. However, I have never seen one person promoting Milo so much more than Malaysians. We're proudly presenting this crazy beverage, we call it Milo Dinosaur. I will let the picture do the elaboration. Be very careful using the straw or the next thing is a big sneeze with Milo powder flying out from your nose.

Coffee here is rather old school. If you know Malaysian originally doesn't know coffee, but it was brought in by the English during the British colonial time. Most of us enjoy drinking coffee with sweetened milk. Our tastebud are usually accommodated to the bitter yet fruity flavor arabica bean. To not regular "local" coffee drinker, avoid consuming on your first day of arrival or you're gonna spend the next couple of days with gastritis related matter 🤣

Myself also having hard time deciding what to eat since we had a heavy breakfast. Fortunately, I found this baby from the bun menu, with a slice of meatloaf and fried egg to go with the special formulated bun, this is going to fit my stomach well.

Lo and behold, it is indeed as good as the menu described. I'm surprised by the taste of the butterscotch blended in the bun. The meatloaf is soft and savory, and the runny egg yolk makes it feel extra juicy.
