BRIDAL SHOWER

Be Happy Bride To Be

Hello Hivers! My apologies for not being able to update you later. After visiting a funeral, we had a bridal shower with one of my friends, then, the next day we went to the mountains which I will be sharing with you soon as well.

The bridal shower happened on the last 25th of February, it almost didn't happen because the place we booked in doesn't have any address stated on Agoda.com nor information about the owner. Good thing Agoda.com is user-friendly and it gave me the option to send a message for them to relay to the owner. We bought all the food and decorations that we need for the event around 1 pm. I was with my friend Angel buying all the things that we need because the other girls still have errands to do. It was very tiring to walk and run around to complete all the things needed. Only to get hold of the gate where we were supposed to stay and set up for the bridal shower.

I was asked to book a room in one of the popular condominiums here in Cagayan De Oro named One Oasis. When Angel and I went there to check in, we were put on hold for 20 minutes because the parking space is full other than that they need a verification from the room owner. Good thing that before we went to the place I was able to get an email from the owner with his phone number and mailbox information where he put the key to our room. He then spoke to the security guard to let us in. The guard then informed us to go inside once there was available parking space. So we waited for another 10 minutes and we were already both hungry until we finally got in.

We were very tired after that long day and we haven't even started decorating yet and we were already very hungry. Because of that in my mind, I questioned, is BRIDAL SHOWER REALLY NEEDED? (comment down below your thoughts). I just noticed that this kind of event isn't that popular with us Filipinos before but nowadays it seems like it's been part of our culture before the wedding happens.

Here's the room I booked, this cost us Php 3,024 per night and we all loved it.

Here is the kitchen, living room, and dining area all in one

Left is the toilet and on the right is one of the vanity areas in one of the rooms

These are the beds in each room

My favorite part of the room, is the balcony with the pool view

This was the preparation, everyone was helping each other while I was taking photos.

And this was the result, tadaaaa!!!

Cheers to our beautiful bride 🥂 (nope I didn't drink that 😂)

Yep, it was mine! the gaisano one HAHAHA. I forgot to buy paper bag 😂 Mirror for the bride to remind herself who she is all the time even until she gets married and have kids in the future.

And of course group picture!

We helped the bride for her giveaways and I end up sleeping at almost 4am

That's it! Thanks for reading hivers. Again guys comment down below if you think bridal shower should be part or necessary in our wedding culture.

Cheers,
Mary 🌷
