Medan's typical Zulaikha cake

hi all friends in the ASEAN Hive Community, on this occasion I would like to show you some photos that I took earlier when I was in the kitchen, this is a typical Medan Zulaikha cake, the taste is very delicious and the texture is easy to eat and eat, this cake was made by by my uncle who came from Medan, at noon when I went to Lhokseumawe wanting to buy food, when I came home I took the time to go around this reservoir.

This reservoir is one of the objects where many people gather in the afternoon, sometimes just for sports or eat and drink on the outskirts of the reservoir or the sea.

Here they sell a lot of various evening foods such as clam satay, grilled corn, somay, grilled meatballs, Boba drinks, coffee, tea and many other menu items too.

This place is always busy at night and in the afternoon days especially on Saturdays and Sundays are very busy they can sit until past twelve o'clock sometimes they play cards and do various activities with kawa n and their spouses.

There are also many outsiders who come here to fish or exercise on Sunday morning. Usually they get small fish and once in a while they get quite big fish depending on their skill in fishing. Many fishermen also place fish traps in the middle

in the middle of a reservoir or sea they will usually harvest fish around once a week to two weeks depending on the conditions and situation.

especially in the past few months it has often rained and been overcast making it difficult for fishermen to sail out to the middle of the sea for fear of very big waves which could have the potential to hit the boat.
