Me complace participar en esta iniciativa tan hermosa que resalta el valor de las mujeres emprendedoras, con motivo de celebrarse este mes el Día Internacional de la Mujer Emprendedora. Gracias @irvinc y @beentrepreneur por esta convocatoria tan motivadora. Me gustaría invitar a una bella mujer que ha demostrado grandes capacidades para poner a funcionar variados emprendimientos, y estoy segura que tiene alguna historia bonita que contarnos, @chacald.dcymt.

A year ago, when my food business was 100% active, I had the opportunity and the satisfaction of merging my business with another business in the area, and it is about them that I am going to talk about in this publication. La experiencia que les voy a relatar comienza así: “Cuando inicié mi emprendimiento lo hice con postres nada más, siendo el quesillo el favorito de todos. Junto a éste me atreví a preparar el popular golfeado, los roles de canela, y las marquesas, pero un día mi horno dejó de funcionar y tuve que permanecer con el quesillo nada más. Se acercaba la temporada navideña y aproveché para introducir el dulce de lechosa, pero necesitaba con urgencia un horno para promocionar las cajitas navideñas con galletas, y los cupcakes navideños, fue cuando se me ocurrió comunicarme con las chicas de “Momentos Aída” para que me dieran soporte en esta parte del emprendimiento.
The experience that I am going to tell you about begins like this: “When I started my business I did it with desserts, nothing else, with cheese being everyone's favorite. Along with this I dared to prepare the popular golfeado, the cinnamon rolls, and the marquesas, but one day my oven stopped working and I had to stay with nothing more than the quesillo. The Christmas season was approaching and I took the opportunity to introduce milky sweet, but I urgently needed an oven to promote the Christmas boxes with cookies, and Christmas cupcakes, that's when it occurred to me to contact the girls from "Momentos Aída" so they could help me. give support in this part of the undertaking.
Se trataba de un emprendimiento que se encargaba de hacer masas de todo tipo, para panes, pastelitos de hojaldre, tequeños, etc., y también vendían tequeños y pastelitos listos para freír. Ambas propietarias fueron alumnas mías, y estaban en plenos estudios universitarios, con el emprendimiento daban soporte a sus carreras y ayudaban a sus padres con los gastos del hogar.
It was an enterprise that was in charge of making doughs of all kinds, for breads, puff pastries, tequeños, etc., and they also sold tequeños and ready-to-fry pastries. Both owners were my students, and they were in the middle of university studies, with the venture they supported their careers and helped their parents with household expenses.
Un día me relataron la historia del nombre del emprendimiento, “Momentos Aída”. De verdad que cada emprendimiento tiene detrás una bella historia, pero ésta me atrapó. Aída es su abuelita, y es una hermosa señora que tuve la oportunidad de conocer, que desde hace más de 50 años realiza tortas de todo tipo en la ciudad de Valencia, estado Carabobo. Las niñas en cada vacación se iban a pasar una temporada con su abuela, y allí poco a poco ella les fue enseñando los secretos de la repostería. En su taller tiene vitrinas para cada tipo de encargos por día, y tiene anaqueles con cestas llenas de herramientas de trabajo y están identificadas con su nombre, todo extremadamente organizado.
One day they told me the story of the name of the enterprise, “Momentos Aída”. Truly, every venture has a beautiful story behind it, but this one caught me. Aída is her grandmother, and she is a beautiful lady that I had the opportunity to meet, who for more than 50 years has been making cakes of all kinds in the city of Valencia, Carabobo state. The girls went to spend a season with her grandmother every vacation, and there little by little she taught them the secrets of pastry. In her workshop she has cabinets for each type of daily assignment, and she has shelves with baskets full of work tools and they are identified with her name, all extremely organized.
Las chicas también me comentaron que cuando comenzaron a crear su empresa, se repetían frases como: “Hazlo como nos dijo la abuela”, o “Como nos enseñó la abuela”, poco a poco se dieron cuenta que los momentos vividos con su abuela tenían una calidad indescriptible, y se iban a reflejar en su emprendimiento día a día, por lo que en honor a ella el mejor nombre para su negocio sería los momentos con su abuela Aída.
The girls also told me that when they began to create their business, they repeated phrases like: "Do it as grandma told us" or "As grandma taught us", little by little they realized that the moments they lived with their grandmother had an indescribable quality, and they were going to be reflected in her day-to-day business, so in honor of her the best name for her business would be the moments with her grandmother Aída.
Durante un año trabajamos juntas en la elaboración de galletas que yo utilizaba para los combos de los días especiales como navidad, día de la amistad, de las madres, del niño, etc., y algunas veces también se vendían los fines de semana. De esta manera pude conocer cómo nació la motivación de estas chicas que junto a su madre elaboraban en “Momentos Aída”, todas las deliciosas recetas de la abuela. Hoy en día su emprendimiento ha abarcado más espacios, y elaboran panes, sobre todo el pan de jamón navideño que tanto nos gusta, elaboran tortas hermosas, y otros tipos de postres. Una de las chicas acaba de recibir su título de Chef, y labora varios días a la semana en una pizzería, y la creadora del emprendimiento, es Bioanalista, pero sabe fusionar sus dos profesiones a la perfección. Los fines de semana estas tres mujeres se colocan su delantal, y se convierten en “Momentos Aída” resaltando los valores y enseñanzas transmitidos por la abuela.
For a year we worked together making cookies that I used for combos on special days like Christmas, Friendship Day, Mother's Day, Children's Day, etc., and sometimes they were also sold on weekends. In this way I was able to learn how the motivation of these girls was born who, together with her mother, prepared all the delicious grandmother's recipes in “Momentos Aída”. Today their venture has covered more spaces, and they make breads, especially the Christmas ham bread that we like so much, they make beautiful cakes, and other types of desserts. One of the girls has just received the title of Chef from her, and works several days a week in a pizzeria, and the creator of the venture is a Bioanalyst, but she knows how to blend her two professions perfectly. On weekends these three women put on their aprons, and become "Aída Moments" highlighting the values and teachings transmitted by their grandmother.
