A chair that looks regal and in power. This is my subject for my first minimalist kind of doodle.

At this stage I want a wing back chair. This is how my quick sketch of the idea looks like. I got lucky in one try and was satisfied with it ready for the next step
I initially like a green chair but it doesn't register well on my screen so a golden yellow was my next option for the base color.
I am learning a new style of drawing and this is my first attempt to do it. Minimalist, plain shapes and less texture. Stark lines, shadows and highlights.
This kind of style lacks depth so to make up for it I added a shadow.
That is how I made this minimalist kind of drawing hope you give it some heart.
