Blue's 2 Minute Tips - Seed Starter Basil

Seed Starting Basil Indoors

I know this may be a shock to some of you, but I love cooking. Love eating, so, love cooking. And nothing is better than Cooking with Fresh Ingredients. During winter, I still want my fresh herbs, so, I am sowing seeds to grow fresh herbs for my cooking.

Follow my latest 2 Minute Garden Tip as I show you how I begin the seed starting for two types of Basil: Dark Opal Baasil, and Sweet Basil. Future videos, over winter, will show us cultivating, and harvesting my fresh, healthy herbs. Healthy cooking, with fresh ingredients is one reason why I am growing my OWN herbs this winter.

Food Security, and also Food Safety are two of the biggest reasons for me growing my own food.

I like knowing that I am providing my own food for family and friends. I know what I use to grow the foods, and know that it is the ultimate locally grown!

And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.

What are you doing to take good care of Mother Earth for Future Generations? What are you doing to take care of your family and friends?
