Titan Quest: Tale of the Wu Part 7

Good day fellow Hivers and fellow gamers! This is my account and playthrough of Titan Quest with all the expansions, including the newest Eternal Embers which I had not played before. The last part was Part 6 here.

This playthrough follows Yu, the Wu - a combination of the brand new Nedian Mastery and the Earth Mastery. Forming together (At least the way that I am playing it), a character class that is a ranged mage with summons - The Terracotta General and the Core Dweller.

Last time, in Part 6 I had finished the initial storyline of the game before all the expansions came out. I had saved the world and defeated the namesake Titan of Titanquest!

Stepping through that end portal should mean that I go to the title screen and unlock the next difficulty of the game. Not anymore. Since the first expansion Immortal Throne was this possible.

No Sir, the quest continues with this ghost boi pitching up at the fallen Temple of the Apollo.

He meets you along the way several times but basically implores you to come and help. Demons are pouring forth from Tartarus and the heros of Elysium are fighting to slow their march on the mortal realm.

Something is amiss.

Simply put, Zeus and the other Greek Gods have left the mortal realm and their connection was severed... but Hades and Persephone remained in the afterlife. Hades decided that now that his brothers and the other Gods were no longer around to contest him, he would be ruler over all!

So your first Act IV town is the City of Rhodes.

You can also go straight from here to the ("Act VI") DLC Act Expansion, but since this came out AFTER Ragnarok, I like to play it after Act V is done!

It is a beautiful place, the funny part is the hissing sounds my character makes as he is boiling the water under his feet. lol!

You fight some Annouran, frog people. Not much of a threat but they come in great numbers.

You then encounter Nightstalkers. These are far more dangerous, sort of like Tigermen in the previous Act.

You meet up with some Greeks who are fighting the good fight!

And take on this Mighty Anteok Hero, I have no idea what they are or if they truly exist in my mythology, but they are formiddible enemies!

Eventually you end up at Medea. Snarky and scheming, she pits you up to all manner of enemies in the coming quests, even manipulating her apprentices to manipulate you into doing her bidding!

Here are all the witches. They give you interesting quests but it feels like each one is there to further forward the agenda of the Sorceress.

Here is an example of the quests to be done...

You fight the Formicid. Dangerous sentient ant-like creatures. Strong warriors, strong mages

And there we have it! Another session of Titan Quest that takes quite a bit of gaming time to achieve (if you played it for the first time it takes a bit longer).

Until next time.

Cheers!
