The splinterland team has introduced a new rule for their weekly battle challenge where the players are required to share their battle strategies with a special ruleset. This week's ruleset is Armored Up. I was unable to participate in the weekly battle challenge because the new season started last week and I was low on power/RP.
I get lucky this week because I got the Armored Up ruleset today while playing the splinterlands. I was able to play 24 battles a day which let me use the ruleset and I use my strategy with my earth NFTs. I used mostly the magical NFTs because the ruleset has already given the armor to all the NFTs so directly hitting the health instead of armor can increase the chance of victory.
1The ruleset of the battle was set to the Armored Up: All monsters get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game. The Mana cap was set to 30 and I was able to select Water, Earth, Life, or Death NFTs.

I was gonna playing this battle with the magical NFTs so selecting the summoner that increases the magical power was a good option. So to increase the magical power of my NFTs I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner.

It's a common chaos legion edition from the earth NFTs. This NFT has two magic, one speed, and three health. It has the Tank Heal Ability: Restores a portion of the monster in the first position's health each round.
- WOOD NYMPH
It's a common reward edition from the earth NFTs. This NFT has one magic, one speed, and two health. It has the Tank Heal Ability: Restores a portion of the monster in the first position's health each round.
- DJINN BILJKA
It's a Legendary reward edition from the earth NFTs. This NFT has one magic, one speed, and two health. It has the Camouflage Ability: This monster cannot be directly targeted for attack unless it is in the first position.
Questions & Answers
Did my strategy work?
Yes, My strategy worked very well as I selected magical NFTs for this battle with the armored-up ruleset, The magic attack NFTs directly damage health of the opponent NFTs. I also used the Tank Heal ability in my battle so my NFTs get charged with health time by time which let me win the battle.
