Ahora bien, para los que aún no me conocen del todo, desde mis inicios en la blockchain hasta el día de hoy, afirmo con seguridad y certeza que más del 50% de mi contenido en Hive trata sobre tutoriales de After Effects (un software dedicado a la animación de efectos visuales) — por esa razón este concurso para mí representa una inmensa alegría, ya que gracias a él puedo mezclar dos de mis grandes pasiones: el diseño y el mundo de los videojuegos...

Now, for those who still don't know me completely, from my beginnings in the blockchain until today, I affirm with certainty that more than 50% of my content in Hive is about After Effects tutorials (a software dedicated to the animation of visual effects ) — that is why this contest represents an immense joy for me, since thanks to it I can mix two of my great passions: graphic design and video games...

Cómo surgió la idea?
Antes de concebir la idea central de lo que quería, tenía claro una cosa: Deseaba que el diseño fuera congruente con la esencia y propósito de la comunidad, que no es otro que generar un ambiente de comodidad en donde cualquier jugador pueda compartir su pasión por los videojuegos sin ningún tipo de miedo; ya sea con post informativos, experiencias personales, reviews, makeup y mucho más.
Luego de meditarlo durante un par de tardes, se me ocurrió la brillante idea de mezclar el diseño tradicional de la insignia en forma de escudo con un estilo de texto similar a los de los equipos de E-sports — que mejor manera de causar una buena impresión en los nuevos jugadores que cautivándolos con un diseño familiar que es recurrente en los mejores team.
Finalmente, luego de varios intentos desesperados de que todas las dimensiones lucieran simétricas entre sí, pude diseñar una insignia que, a mi parecer, luce bastante bien. — Me siento muy contento con el resultado final.
How did the idea come about?
Before conceiving the central idea of what I wanted, I was clear about one thing: I wanted the design to be congruent with the essence and purpose of the community, which is none other than creating an environment of comfort where any player can share his passion for video games without fear; be it with informational posts, personal experiences, reviews, makeup and much more.
After pondering for a couple of afternoons, I came up with the brilliant idea of mixing the traditional shield badge design with a text style similar to E-sports teams — What better way to make a good impression on new players than to captivate them with a familiar design that is recurring on the best teams.
Finally, after several desperate attempts to make all the dimensions appear symmetrical to each other, I was able to design a badge that looks pretty good. — I'm very happy with the result.
No puedo tomar todo el crédito
A pesar de que el uso del logotipo oficial de la comunidad de Hive Gaming no era estrictamente necesario, tenía como aspiración poder usarlo de forma completa (Ojos y boca incluidos). Lastimosamente esa decisión terminaría dejando un molestó espacio en los lados laterales de la composición. — De no ser por mi hermana que me animó a usar solo las orejas del carismático zorro, estaría haciendo magia para rellenar los espacios...
Me convenció diciéndome que el diseño de la insignia tiene un ligero parecido al inolvidable Raccoon Mario de SMB3. ¿Ustedes que opinan?
I can't take all the credit
Although the use of the official Hive Gaming community logo was not strictly necessary, it was my aspiration to be able to use it fully (eyes and mouth included). Unfortunately that decision would end up leaving an annoying space on the sides of the composition. — If it weren't for my sister who encouraged me to only use the ears of the charismatic fox, I would be doing magic to fill the spaces...
She convinced me by telling me that the badge design bears a slight resemblance to Raccoon Mario from SMB3. What you think?
