Chrono trigger: The best DS game?

Hello friends of hive today I come to talk about a game that I found looking for top best DS games, I did it so I would not happen to me as with Shadows of the colossus of ps2 that I learned of its existence long time ago, and had lost the opportunity to play that great game previously, then I looked for the top of the best DS games to not miss any good game, and in that top was first Chrono trigger I had never heard of it and maybe many of you either. Well let's go with the review.

Chrono trigger was released for the super Nintendo and was a success, a long time later it was released for DS but without a Spanish version only in English, fortunately since it has been quite some time you can find it in that language. This helped me to make a better review and not do it blindly so to speak.

The story of Chrono trigger begins with our character which we can put the name we want, but I left the default which is "Chrono", so likewise with the other characters that we will be finding and recruiting. Chrono is woken up by his mother and she tells him to go to see the experiment that his friend Lucca did in the fair, already in this fair we meet a girl called Marle and she tells us that, if we could accompany her, we do it and after waiting for Marle to buy some candy, we go to see Lucca's experiment which is a kind of teleporter, Lucca's father asks for a volunteer and the one who decides to participate is our dear protagonist, we are placed in a kind of device and we are teleported to the other side, everything goes well.

Marle wants to try and gets into the device, then something goes wrong and a portal opens out of nowhere, then Marle is sucked through the portal, it closes. Lucca says it's because she reacted with a necklace that Marle had, our protagonist goes for her and after some situations we realize that the portal took us to the past, we managed to rescue Marle together with Lucca who found out how to control the portal. In order not to make the story longer I will summarize things a little, a variety of situations happen and in one of those we manage to go to the future which was destroyed by a Demon that came out of the earth, so the main mission of our heroes will be to find out how to stop the invocation of the Demon and thus have a better future. I have to say that the humor is very well placed, plus there will be very sentimental situations with our characters.

The gameplay of Chrono trigger is an rpg, the characters are leveling up, get new powers, also we will find equipment to put them, we will have to fight all kinds of monsters and bosses, they can also do attacks together for that you will have to fill some white bars on the sides of the characters to use them, what I liked is that it is not like most rpg where you walk and you find a monster out of nowhere that kind of gameplay becomes a little heavy as you progress through the game, but with Chrono trigger is different because you see the monsters and you can decide whether to face them or try to dodge them to continue your way, I have to say that the fight mode is not very clear to me yet, because I do not know if it is turn based or not, because I read a guide because I got stuck in a part and apparently at the beginning I skipped the tutorial without knowing it.

The game will have animations as you progress through the story, but this part disappointed me a bit since the first one appeared after a long time playing, the drawing designs of these are similar to "Dragon ball".

In my opinion Chrono trigger I still don't understand how it ended up at number one of the top I saw, since the story gets interesting little by little and the gameplay is not so flashy, but of course I'm not saying it's not entertaining since I played it several hours when I have nothing else to do, this is also because apart from loving idle type games, tycoon I also quite like rpg's since I focus on making my characters as strong as possible, if one day you get excited to try it don't hesitate to leave me your opinion in the comment box.

Hola amigos de hive hoy les vengo hablar de un juego que encontré buscando top mejores juegos de DS, lo hice para que no me pasara como con Shadows of the colossus de ps2 que me entere de su existencia mucho tiempo des pues, y había perdido la oportunidad dejugar ese gran juego con anterioridad, entonces busque el top de los mejores juegos de DS para no perderme de ningún juego bueno, y en ese top estaba de primero Chrono trigger nunca había escuchado de él y tal vez muchos de ustedes tampoco. Bueno vamos con la reseña.

Chrono trigger fue lanzado para la super Nintendo y fue un éxito, mucho tiempo después lo sacaron para DS pero sin una versión en español solo en inglés, por suerte ya que ha pasado bastante tiempo ya lo pueden encontrar en ese idioma. Esto me ayudo hacer mejor la reseña y no hacerla a ciegas por asi decirlo.

La historia de Chrono trigger empieza con nuestro personaje el cual le podemos poner el nombre que queramos, pero yo le deje el predeterminado el cual es “Chrono”, asi de igual forma con los demás personajes que iremos encontrándonos y reclutando. Chrono lo despierta su mama y le dice que vaya a ver el experimento que hizo su amiga Lucca en la feria, ya en dicha feria chocamos con una chica llamada Marle y nos dice que, si podíamos acompañarle, lo hacemos y luego de esperar que Marle compre unos dulce, vamos a ver el experimento de Lucca el cual es una especie de teletransportador , el papa de Lucca pide un voluntario y el que decide participar es nuestro querido protagonista, nos colocan en una especie de aparato y nos teletransportamos al otro lado , todo sale bien.

Marle quiere intentar y se mete al aparato, luego algo sale mal se y se abre un portal de la nada, luego Marle es succionada por el portal, este se cierra. Lucca dice que es porque reacciono con un collar que tenía Marle, nuestro prota va por ella y luego de algunas situaciones nos damos cuenta que ese portal nos llevo al pasado, logramos rescatar a Marle junto con Lucca que averiguo la manera de controlar el portal. Para no hacer la historia más larga resumiré un poco las cosas, pasan variedad de situaciones y en una de esas logramos ir al futuro el cual fue destruido por un Demonio que salio de la tierra, así que la misión principal de nuestros héroes será averiguar cómo detener la invocación del Demonio y así tener un futuro mejor. Tengo que decir que el humor esta muy bien colocado, ademas habra situaciones muy sentimentales con nuestros personajes.

La jugabilidad de Chrono trigger es un rpg, los personajes van subiendo de nivel, obtienen nuevos poderes, tambien encontraremos equipamientos para colocárselos, tendremos que pelear con todo tipo de monstruos y jefes, además pueden hacer ataques en conjunto para eso se tendrán que llenar unas barras blancas a los lados de los personajes para poder usarlos, lo que me gusto bastante es que no es como la mayoría de los rpg donde caminas y te encuentras un monstruo de la nada ese tipo de jugabilidad se hace un poco pesada mientras vas avanzando en el juego, pero con Chrono trigger es diferente ya que tú ves a los monstruos y puedes decidir si enfrentarte a ellos o tratar de esquivarlos para seguir tu camino, tengo que decir que el modo de pelea no me queda muy claro todavía, porque no sé si es por turno o no, ya que me leí una guía porque me quede atascado en una parte y bueno al parecer al principio me salte el tutorial sin saberlo.

El juego tendrá animaciones mientras vas avanzando en la historia, pero esta parte me decepciono un poco ya que la primera apareció después de mucho tiempo jugando, los diseños de dibujo de estas son parecidas a “Dragon ball”.

En mi opinión Chrono trigger todavía no entiendo cómo fue a parar al número uno del top que vi, ya que la historia se va poniendo interesante poco a poco y la jugabilidad no es tan llamativa, pero claro no digo que no sea entretenido ya que lo he jugado varias horas cuando no tengo más nada que hacer, esto también se debe que aparte de amar los juegos tipo idle, los tycoon también me gustan bastante los rpg ya que me enfoco en hacer a mis personajes los más fuertes posibles, si algún dia se entusiasman en probarlo no duden en dejarme su opinión en la caja de comentarios.
