Hello hive friends today I will tell you about a game I couldn't play when I had my DS up and running because I didn't master the language it was in and it bothered me a bit as it is a strategy game with a pixel art design which is a combination that is quite appealing to me. I downloaded it yesterday, I didn't think I was going to play it much since there are many things to understand about the gameplay, but once I got the hang of it, I've been playing it for hours. Let's start with the review.
Advanced wars has several games, the one I am going to talk about is Dual strike, I am not very familiar with the story since I have only played this one, just entering the game you get a small introduction where they give you to understand that there was a war where we were victorious against the Black hole that apparently are the antagonists, but apparently our enemy is back and stronger, so the four nations joined together to create an army and put an end to the Black hole. Our mission will be to go defeating the different commanders or soldiers of the Black hole and discover how they have returned.
The gameplay reminded me a bit of Fire emblem where we will have different units that we can move by squares, these will have a range of movement and attack in specific, these ranges can be seen by pressing our unit or the enemy for a short time with the stylus. If the enemy is not in the range of attack of our unit we will not be able to attack him same happens with them, when we have moved all our units as we want we will be able to give end to our turn, which are measured by day, that is to say mine and my enemy's turn will be a day.

We will have several game modes such as campaign mode where we will be taught how to play with different missions in addition to gradually getting to know the story, the first missions we will do with Jake who is a rookie in the war and is learning thanks to the advice of the other characters here call them OJ, which we can use later, I really do not know why they call them so, I guess it is an abbreviation of something. Each OJ will have a special power which will be activated as we go filling some stars in battle, the more stars we have the power will be much better, for example, there is a power of an OJ called "the power of money" which makes our units become stronger depending on the supplies we have.

There are a variety of units such as tanks, infantry, gunners, TAO and others such as ships and planes, each of them will have its own characteristics such as a different range of attack and movement, besides having a special function as the TAO that can transport the units to other sites, we can also mention the gunners who have a great range of attack, apart from this we can take some cities that will appear in the field of the game but can only be with the infantry, these cities will give us supply every time you go through the days. I must say that each unit will be strong against a specific one, these weaknesses are shown in the screen above and if one does not understand the game gives you the option to press the "R" key to give you all the necessary information of that unit.

When a unit of the enemy or of us attack will open a scenario where you see how these units are attacked , these will have above them a circle of their respective color for example the circle of the Black hole army is black, in addition to this circle there will be a number, which to reach 0 means that this unit was defeated this in particular makes me nervous, since when attacking gives you a percentage of how effective it will make the attack then gives you that intrigue that if you can defeat that enemy unit or not.

There are two ways to win the mission one is when all your enemy's units are defeated or you have taken the general position with an infantry unit, if you win the mission they will start with some dialogues about the story, then they will give you the mission grade, more experience and the final score of the mission. If you are defeated, don't worry, you can redo the mission and make a better strategy to win.

In my opinion it is a game with quite a variety of gameplay, I say this because sometimes they are explaining something to me and it gets a little complicated, but as you progress through the game learning from your defeats you get the rhythm of the game, it is quite entertaining and you have to think very well the moves you should do, for those who like strategy games I recommend it, another thing I have to say is regarding the game design is quite nice and smooth is very well done, plus there is a fluidity in the incredible animation, I love it .

Hola amigos de hive hoy les hablare de un juego que no pude jugar cuando tenía mi DS en funcionamiento porque no dominaba el idioma en el que estaba y me molestaba un poco ya que es un juego de estrategia con un diseño pixel art el cual es una combinación que me llama bastante la atención. Me lo descargue ayer, no pensaba que lo iba a jugar mucho ya que hay muchas cosas que entender de la jugabilidad, pero una vez que le agarre el hilo, he estado horas jugándolo. Empecemos con la reseña.
Advanced wars tiene varios juegos, del que voy hablar es el de Dual strike no estoy muy al tanto de la historia ya que solo he jugado este, apenas entrando al juego te dan una pequeña introducción donde te dan a entender que hubo una guerra donde salimos victoriosos contra los Black hole que al parecer son los antagonistas, pero al parecer nuestro enemigo a regresado y más fuerte, así que las cuatro naciones se unieron para crear un ejército y así ponerle fin al Black hole. Nuestra misión será ir derrotando a los diferentes comandantes o soldados del Black hole y descubrir cómo han regresado.
La jugabilidad me recordó un poco a Fire emblem donde tendremos diferentes unidades que podremos mover por cuadritos, estas tendrán un rango de movimiento y de ataque en específico, dichos rangos se podrán ver presionando nuestra unidad o el del enemigo por un corto tiempo con el lápiz táctil. Si el enemigo no está en el rango de ataque de nuestra unidad no lo podremos atacarlo mismo pasa con ellos, cuando hayamos movido todas nuestras unidades como queramos podremos darle fin a nuestro turno, los cuales se miden por día, es decir el turno mío y el de mi enemigo será un día.

Tendremos varios modos de juego como el modo campaña donde nos enseñaran como jugar con distintas misiones además de ir conociendo poco a poco la historia, las primeras misiones la haremos con Jake que es un novato en la guerra y va aprendiendo gracias a los consejos de los otros personajes aquí los llaman OJ, los cuales podremos usar después, realmente no sé porque los llaman así, supongo que es una abreviatura de algo. Cada OJ tendrá un poder especial el cual se activará a medida que vamos rellenando unas estrellas en la batalla, mientras más estrellas tengamos el poder será mucho mejor, por ejemplo, hay un poder de un OJ llamado “el poder del dinero” el cual hace que nuestras unidades se vuelvan más fuerte dependiendo de los suministros que tengamos.

Hay una gran variedad de unidades como son los tanques, la infantería, los artilleros, los TAO y entre otras como barcos y aviones, cada una de ella tendrá características propias como un rango de ataque y movimiento diferentes, además de tener una función en especial como los TAO que pueden transportar a las unidades hacia otros sitios, también podemos mencionar a los artilleros quienes tienen un gran rango de ataque, aparte de esto podremos tomar unas ciudades que aparecerá en el campo del juego pero solo se podrá con la infantería, dichas ciudades nos darán suministro cada vez que va pasando los días. Debo decir que cada unidad será fuerte contra una en específico, estas debilidades se muestran en la pantalla de arriba y si uno no lo entiende el juego te da la opción de apretar la tecla “R” para darte toda la información necesaria de esa unidad.

Cuando una unidad del enemigo o de nosotros ataque se abrirá un escenario donde se ve cómo se atacan dichas unidades , estas tendrán encima de ellas un circulo de su color respectivo por ejemplo el círculo del ejercito de los Black hole es negro, además de este círculo habrá un número, el cual a llegar a 0 significa que esa unidad fue derrotada esto en particular me pone nervioso, ya que al atacar te da un porcentaje de qué tan efectivo va hacer el ataque entonces te da esa intriga de que si podrás derrotar esa unidad enemiga o no.

Hay dos formas de ganar La misión una es cuando ya todas las unidades de tu enemigo son derrotadas o haberle tomado con una unidad de infantería el puesto general, si te alzas con la victoria empezarán con unos diálogos referente a la historia, luego te darán la calificación de la misión, más experiencia y el puntaje final de la misión. Si eres derrotado no te preocupes puedes volver hacer la misión y armar una mejor estrategia para así ganar.

En mi opinión es un juego con bastante variedad de jugabilidad, lo digo porque a veces me están explicando algo y se me complica un poco, pero a medida que vas avanzando en el juego aprendiendo de tus derrotas le vas agarrando el ritmo al juego, es bastante entretenido y tienes que pensar muy bien los movimientos que debes hacer, para los que les guste los juegos de estrategia se lo recomiendo, otra cosa que tengo que decir es respecto al diseño del juego es bastante agradable y suave está muy bien hecho, además que hay una fluidez en la animación increíble, me encanta .
