Magic Monk Arcade

Hi everyone. Previously I announced the first Multiversus Hive Event to be held on Saturday 24th of September at 9pm UTC. There was not a lot of interest to play Multiversus. I can only assume that not many people on Hive play this game and that there probably isn't a lot of incentive to download a whole new game, apply to get a Warner Brothers account, practice the game etc just to have a chance get 20 HIVE.

I am therefore changing the name of the event to Magic Monk Arcade. The format of the event will be the same as before, except other than multiversus, you can also choose to challenge me in the game land-io. The land-io game can be played within a discord chat, so you don't have to download any other game, go to any other program, or set up any other accounts. You can just simply play within discord where we are chatting. You do however need to be on a PC/laptop though, as I don't think you can play through the discord phone app.

Rules of the event (subject to change)

1. Only a maximum of 100 HIVE will be paid at this event. Once this has happened, the event will be over.
2. The event will only go for a maximum of 2 hours. Even if there are still people who have yet to challenge me, at 11pm UTC I will leave the discord channel.
3. If nobody shows up to the event or all the games have been played, I will wait for 10 minutes then leave the event.
4. Each participant can only play twice maximum (you have to beat me the first time you play to get the second time against another winner).
5. If you lose against me, you cannot play again at this particular event.
6. The order of participants will be decided by the order of players that write a message in the "general" channel from 9pm to indicate they're participating.
7. I will play every single person who has entered, up to a 2 hour time limit or until 100 Hive has been given out.
8. If you beat me, I will transfer 10 HIVE into your HIVE account at the conclusion of the event.
9. If I have played everyone at this event and the 2 hour time limit has not been reached, then I will organise players who have beaten me to play each other. E.g. Let's pretend player A beat me and player B beat me as well, then at this point player A and B can verse each other.
10. Whoever wins out of player A and B can get another 10 Hive. That reaches the end of player A and B and they can play no more matches at this event.
11. If there are players C and D (another 2 people who have beaten me), then they can verse each other to win another 10 Hive, and we will continue until we run out of players.
12. If there is an odd number of players (i.e. someone who doesn't have a winner to play) then unfortunately that person won't get a second game and won't be able to win any more Hive.

MultiVersus - Winning 1v1 with Finn

Hey guys. In this video you will learn how to use Finn to win a 1v1 game. I'm demonstrating this with Monchdachonch, who is a superman specialist. One thing became awfully obvious when I was fighting superman with finn, and that is Finn's reach is way longer than superman. When I'm on the ground with superman, there is no way he can reach me while I'm spamming standard attack with my sword.

Superman's grabbing special attack while he is in the air doesn't work very well against Finn either. When he is flying towards me to grab me, I simply press Forward + special which will not only avoid his attack but knock him back. So superman basically has nothing he can do against me, while I am standard attacking him and taking coins.

After collecting coins, spending them on items (speed boost, projectile armour), it's now just a matter of continuing to beat on superman until he runs out of chances to stay in the game each time I land a knock out attack. You can see throughout the whole match Superman hasn't knocked me out once. Enjoy the video!
