Soulstone Survivors is a fantastic rogue-lite autobattler/bullet-hell and I'm enjoying it so much that I actually recorded a little bit of gameplay to share!
I'm not much of a video person but it's something I would like to change, especially now that I have a computer capable of doing more than one thing at a time. xD I will probably just start with no commentary gameplay things, but I hope to progress to doing up proper edited videos at some point.
In today's gameplay video, I chose to record a section of the game where you participate in a "cursed" map. As you progress through the maps you unlock more difficult versions by increasing their curse modifiers. These curses increase elite enemies, number of bosses you face, environmental effects, exploding goblins who try to kamikaze you, etc.
I need to complete a Tier 3 curse map of The Dungeon of Despair in order to unlock the Necromancer character to play as. So today I progressed through Tier 1 and 2 curses, then decided to record Tier 3. 😃
I'm playing as The Elementalist character and, as you can see, the gameplay gets quite hectic. xD
I won though. And it's all thanks to the ability Arcane Power which really strengthens your multicast, enabling you to unleash MOAR POWAH! I actually tried this three times and failed each of those times until I grabbed Arcane Power. With that ability I was literally melting the bosses, as you can see in the uploaded video. 😁
And, after finishing up the video, I zoomed to the character page and bought The Necromancer! Woo!
Mission complete.
