Satisfactory ~ a screenshot showcase of a game's wasted potential.

Satisfactory, currently in Early Access, is the type of game that makes me wonder, "Just what are the developers thinking!?"

The game is absolutely beautiful.

We are on a gorgeous alien planet, surrounded by exotic flora, splendour, a plethora of different biomes in which to explore, and instead of creating an amazing open-world RPG, for some horrendous reason they've created a...

...factory simulator.

Our current base of operations. It's a mess, haha.

I mean, the game is fun. But I just feel like they could be doing so much more with it than just a factory simulator. My partner is doing all the factory stuff and I'm just wandering around, admiring the game, thinking about how much wasted potential it has.

If I'm going to be playing a factory simulator, part of me would prefer the landscape be a barren desert, or look like Mars, or something; not this lush wilderness that could totally have elves hiding in the trees and secret cities buried deep within the forests.

Allow me to share some of the prettiest regions of the game, that I've discovered so far.

It's so freakin' beautiful!

So much wasted potential.

Such disappoint.

It's fun though, I'll give it that.

I'm not sure what the actual point of this game is other than crafting mass amounts of things then sending them off into space, but, it's fun. 🤷‍♀️

You can find it on the Steam Store behind these blue words!

Until next time,

Thanks for stopping by! 🙃
