Hello gamers! We've done some brainstorming in the community and decided to start using the "Members" tag more consistently. Up until now this hasn't been used in any other way but to give to people who have been part of the community for a while and that has asked for it. It also had a use case in the past where consistent users who didn't show signs of plagiarism got awarded the tag. Then those users started plagiarizing as well and the tag was mostly retired.
We now want to start giving this tag out to the active and engaging members of our fine community alongside custom titles! Our hope is that this will drive up engagement even more and help build relations between community members.

How do I get the tag?
To get the tag you have to go through a short application process. Check out the steps below.
- Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/xghARvX
- Find the channel called #member-applications
- Drop your Hive username alongside your custom title
The team will now review your application and react with a red X or a green checkmark depending on if your application was accepted or rejected. You are welcome to try again at a later time if your application is rejected.
There aren't any fixed requirements for this as each application will be reviewed on a case by case basis. What I can say is that we value engagement pretty much above everything else. As an example; if you've made 10 posts in the community but only 1 comment outside your own posts you will be rejected. If you've made 0 posts in the community but are a beast at engagement you're more likely to be accepted.
We also reserve the right to remove the members tag at any moment if your engagement drops. If you engage for a while only to get the tag then stop engaging to only make posts then that's having the opposite effect of what we want with this initiative.
Custom title
We really like the idea of our members having personal titles next to their names. This can be pretty much anything as long as it's not something vulgar, offensive or demeaning.
You will be able to change your title if you want but to lessen the teams workload around this initiative you'll only be able to do so once a month. You can apply for a title change in the same Discord channel where you applied for your members tag.
Don't have Discord?
If you don't have Discord you can also apply through the comment section of this post. Because this is posted through the community account the team members will not receive notifications when you comment here which is why Discord will be a lot easier for everyone involved. We will do our best to regularly check out the comment section here though.
