Existen muchos tipos de entrenadores Pokémon, algunos simplemente desean tener un equipo fuerte para poder completar la liga, otros tienen como objetivo capturarlos a todos y completar la Pokédex, pero entre ellos existen algunos que se dedican a capturar ciertos Pokémon raros o extraños de ver, los cuales se han convertido con el tiempo en una adicción por obtenerlos, se trata de los Shiny Pokémon.
There are many types of Pokémon trainers, some simply want to have a strong team to complete the league, others aim to capture them all and complete the Pokédex, but among them there are some who are dedicated to capture certain rare or strange Pokémon to see, which have become over time an addiction to get them, we are talking about the Shiny Pokémon.
Como se mencionó anteriormente este tipo de Pokémon es extraño de ver, se trata de una especie con una variación genética la cual produce un cambio de color, es decir, se trata de una criatura con las mismas propiedades con respecto a su ataque, defensa y apariencia a los Pokémon originales, pero solo cambia la paleta de colores, esto lo convierte en rarezas dentro de cada uno de los videojuegos de la franquicia.
As previously mentioned, this type of Pokémon is strange to see, it is a species with a genetic variation which produces a color change, that is, it is a creature with the same properties regarding its attack, defense and appearance as the original Pokémon, but only changes the color palette, this makes it a rarity in each of the video games of the franchise.
El origen de los Shiny Pokémon se remonta en la segunda generación, gracias a los colores que se mostraban en la pantalla de la Game Boy Color, los desarrolladores quisieron agregarle un pequeño secreto que fue asombroso en aquellos tiempos, una variación dentro de la paleta de los colores en el Pokémon, algo que muy pocos entrenadores pudieron encontrar, sin embargo, en la aventura se puede capturar a un ejemplar de ellos, dando origen a diferentes teorías sobre este tipo de monstruos, el Gyarados Rojo.
The origin of the Shiny Pokémon dates back to the second generation, thanks to the colors that were shown on the Game Boy Color screen, the developers wanted to add a little secret that was amazing in those times, a variation within the palette of colors in the Pokémon, something that very few trainers could find, however, in the adventure you can capture a copy of them, giving rise to different theories about this type of monsters, the Red Gyarados.

When this Pokémon appears, it shines brightly and has an intense red color, very different from the blue Gyarados. Uno de los Shiny Pokémon más comunes en esa generación fue Shiny Ditto, el cual era de color azul y de un brillo intenso, al igual que el Gyarados Rojo este Pokémon fue el causante de que muchos entrenadores supieran de la existencia de estos ejemplares. A pesar de que en la segunda generación se originaron los Shiny, en ese momento no se le conocían con ese nombre, fueron los propios jugadores quienes los nombraron de esa manera.

Debido a lo asombroso, raro y llamativo que son estos Pokémon, multitud de entrenadores pasan centenares de horas buscando sus monstruos favoritos para formar el equipo perfecto, esto es algo muy sorprendente al momento de ver todos sus Shiny Pokémon en un torneo, algo que es admirable por tanta dedicación en poder capturarlos.
Due to the amazing, rare and eye-catching nature of these Pokémon, many trainers spend hundreds of hours searching for their favorite monsters to form the perfect team, which is something very surprising when they see all their Shiny Pokémon in a tournament, something that is admirable for such dedication in being able to capture them.
