Welcome to this fourth installment of this series of Megaman x4 Gameplays. This time I will play the sea base level, a level where we will have the opportunity to use a new gadget, like that giant armor we used in the Volcano world; in this sea base we will be able to use a motorcycle, which will be our vehicle during most of the game.

It's a bit difficult level if you play it for the first time, but as soon as you get the rhythm, it will be easier to advance. In addition, its boss is quite complicated as well, so, as a whole, the whole level represents a challenge. Having said all that, let's get started.

Sean todos bienvenidos a esta cuarta entrega de esta serie de Gameplays de Megaman x4. En esta ocasión jugare el nivel de la base marina, un nivel en donde tendremos la oportunidad de usar un nuevo artilugio, como aquella armadura gigante que usamos en el mundo Volcano; en esta base marina podremos usar una motocicleta, la cual será nuestro vehículo durante gran parte del recorrido.

Es un nivel un poco difícil si lo juegas por primera vez, pero tan pronto como le tomas el ritmo, te será más fácil avanzar. Además, su jefe es bastante complicado también, así que, en conjunto, todo el nivel representa un reto. Dicho todo esto, comencemos.

As I already mentioned, this level has a boss that represents a great challenge, because it has different ways of attacking, it is very fast and each attack deducts a great amount of life. Let me introduce you to this Maverick, Jet Stingray.

Como ya mencioné, este nivel tiene un jefe que representa un gran reto, pues tiene distintas formas de atacar, es muy rápido y cada ataque nos descuenta gran cantidad de vida. Les presento a este Maverick, Jet Stingray

The nature of this Maverick is water, so it is to be expected that it is in this marine base. However, we do not start the level in a world full of water, no; rather, everything looks like a cave with pipes, walkways, tunnels and traps through which we can fall.

Unlike other levels, here we do not encounter so many enemies, only some motorized ones and other small robots similar to drones that will try to stop us.

La naturaleza de este Maverick es de agua, así que es de esperarse que se encuentre en esta base marina. Sin embargo, no comenzamos el nivel en un mundo repleto de agua, no; mas bien, todo parece una cueva con tuberías, pasarelas, túneles y trampas por las que podemos caer.

A diferencia de otros niveles, aquí no nos encontramos a tantos enemigos, solo algunos motorizados y otros pequeños robots parecidos a drones que intentarán detenernos.

In my opinion, the difficulty of this level does not lie in the multiple enemies that we can find, but in the speed with which we advance on the motorcycle and the large number of cliffs and traps that there are.

If we jump too early, we can fall off a cliff. If we do not jump in time, we can explode one of the many bombs that are on the road. On the other hand, if we advance too fast, we can encounter cliffs and explosive platforms with which we will lose lives.

En mi opinión, la dificultad de este nivel no radica en los múltiples enemigos que podemos encontrarnos, sino en la velocidad con la que avanzamos en la motocicleta y la gran cantidad de precipicios y trampas que hay.

Si saltamos antes de tiempo, podemos caer por un acantilado. Si no saltamos a tiempo, nos puede explotar una de las tantas bombas que hay en el camino. Por otra parte, si avanzamos demasiado rápido, nos podemos encontrar con acantilados y plataformas explosivas con las que perderemos vidas.

It is a complicated level, but it also has its good things. In this area, first of all we can find a heart, like the ones we found in previous levels (Volcano and Snow Base). This heart is easy to lose because it is located at the bottom of a metal walkway. So we must be careful not to forget this heart.

Es un nivel complicado, pero también tiene sus cosas buenas. En esta área, primeramente podemos encontrar un corazón, como los que encontramos en los que encontramos en niveles anteriores (Volcano y Snow Base). Este corazón es fácil de perder porque se encuentra en la parte baja de una pasarela de metal. Así que debemos ser atentos para no pasar por alto este corazón.

Despite its difficulties, the level is quite entertaining and strange, because there are no more levels similar to this one, where we can play with a motorcycle. So if we pass all these obstacles in area 1 of the level, we will advance quickly.

A pesar de sus dificultades, el nivel es bastante entretenido y extrañable, porque no hay más niveles parecidos a este, en donde podremos jugar con una motocicleta. Así que si pasamos todos estos obstáculos de la área 1 del nivel, avanzaremos rápidamente.

If the previous one seemed a difficult area, now we find an area a little easier, but where we finally find water. It's as if the previous area was a subway and this is the surface, at least that's how I perceive it.

Si la anterior les pareció un área difícil, ahora nos encontramos con un área un poco más fácil, pero donde por fin encontramos agua. Es como si el área anterior fuese un subterráneo y esta la superficie, al menos así lo percibo yo.

Well, here it is practically the same, only with metal platforms and water on the surface. We will find bombs on the platforms, buoys in the water and enemies everywhere.

Bien, aquí es prácticamente lo mismo, solo que con plataformas de metal y agua en la superficie. Nos encontraremos bombas en las plataformas, boyas en el agua y enemigos por todos lados.

The curious thing about this second area is that it is the second level, besides the initial level, in which we encounter a boss in the middle of the level; that is, before the end. In fact, we encounter Jet Stingray a second time in addition to this one...

At the beginning I told you that we found a heart in the first area of this level. Well, in the second area, besides facing Jet Stingray very briefly, we can find an item or an energy container that is almost at the end.

We must be careful when taking this item, because we could get caught in a barrier and lose a life.

Al comienzo les dije que encontramos un corazón en la primera área de este nivel. Pues bien, en la segunda área, además de enfrentarnos muy brevemente a Jet Stingray, podemos encontrar un item o un contenedor de energía que se encuentra casi al final.

Hay que tener cuidado al tomar este item, poque podríamos quedar atrapado en una barrera y perder una vida.

However, if we lose a life (as was my case in this gameplay), we can always try again and at some point we will reach an area of the level where we will finally get out of the water and reach a platform where we will get off the motorcycle.

Sin embargo, si perdemos una vida (como fue mi caso en este gameplay), siempre podemos intentarlo otra vez y en algún momento llegaremos a un área del nivel en la que finalmente saldremos del agua y llegaremos a una plataforma en donde nos bajaremos de la motocicleta.

In the previous level we defeated the maverick Frost Walrus, a maverick with which we managed to obtain a buster called Frost Tower, which allows us to create a pillar of ice with which we can more easily defeat Jet Stingray, the boss maverick of this level.

En el nivel anterior derrotamos al maverick Frost Walrus, un maverick con el que logramos obtener un buster llamado Frost Tower, que nos permite crear un pilar de hielo con el que podremos derrotar con mayor facilidad a Jet Stingray, el maverick jefe de este nivel.

After crossing the door behind this platform, we will finally reach this final boss, where we will have a pretty difficult fight and that will cost us even, if we are not careful, a couple of lives. Nevertheless, if we are fast enough and use our weapons well, we will be able to defeat this boss.

Tras cruzar la puerta que está detrás de esta plataforma, finalmente llegaremos a este jefe final, en donde tendremos una lucha bastante difícil y que nos costará incluso, si no tenemos cuidado, un par de vidas. A pesar de todo, si somos lo suficientemente rápido y usamos bien nuestras armas, podremos derrotar a este jefe.

With this victory we get a new buster, called Ground Hunter. We would already have three and with this third one we would have the possibility of defeating Slash Beast, the Maverick of the military train level, more easily. Also, in this next level that we will play, the ice tower that we obtained by defeating Frost Walrus will be very useful, I will show you why in that level.

Con esta victoria logramos obtener un nuevo buster, llamado Ground Hunter. Ya tendriamos tres y con este tercero se nos abriría la posibilidad de derrotar con mayor facilidad a Slash Beast, el Maverick del nivel del tren militar. Además, en este siguiente nivel que jugaremos, nos será muy útil la torre de hielo que obtuvimos derrotando a Frost Walrus, ya les mostraré por qué en ese nivel.
