Hello Everyone / Hola a todos...
In today's post I wanted to participate in an initiative that is trending in the gaming community, and it is: Ready Player Hive, where we have the opportunity to share our favorite video game characters.
And as many in the community have commented, this is especially difficult because after years playing so many titles it is very difficult to choose favorites, since each character has marked me in some way, either by personality or what they can do.
But of all the video games I have played, I have decided to choose 3 that stand out as main characters from any other, and these are: Prince of Persia from the follow of the same name, Starkiller from Star Wars the Force Unleashed and CJ from GTA SA.
En la publicación de hoy quería participar en una iniciativa que está en tendencia en la comunidad de juegos, y se trata de: Ready Player Hive, donde tenemos la oportunidad de compartir nuestros personajes favoritos de videojuegos.
Y como han comentado muchos en la comunidad, esto es especialmente difícil ya que luego de años jugando tantos títulos es muy complicado escoger favoritos, ya que cada personaje me ha marcado de alguna manera, ya sea por la personalidad o lo que puede hacer.
Pero de todos los videojuegos que he jugado, he decidido escoger a 3 que destacan como personajes principales de cualquier otro, y estos son: El Príncipe de Persia de la siga del mismo nombre, Starkiller de Star Wars the Force Unleashed y CJ de GTA SA.
The first character is Prince of Persia, since he is one of the most iconic characters of video games and is the one I started playing with, I remember I had a computer that did not support titles like GTA SA or Prototype, but if I could run normally Prince of Persia Warrior Within and T2T.
But as WW was very complicated since the bosses were Dark Souls style, I went more for T2T and from that moment Prince of Persia became my favorite character in video games, since he was the ideal hero, he saved entire kingdoms, fought against the worst villains and demons, and did parkour like a pro and sometimes defying the laws of physics, but he could achieve everything, plus he could control the time with the help of the arenas.

El primer personaje es el príncipe de Persia, ya que es uno de los personajes más icónicos de los videojuegos y es con quien empecé a jugar, recuerdo que tenía una computadora que no aguantaba títulos como GTA SA o Prototype, pero si podía correr con normalidad Prince of Persia Warrior Within y T2T.
Pero como el WW era muy complicado ya que los jefes eran de estilo Dark Souls, me fui más por el T2T y desde ese momento el príncipe de Persia se convirtió en mi personaje favorito de los videojuegos, ya que él era el héroe ideal, salvaba reinos enteros, peleaba contra los peores villanos y demonios, y hacia parkour como un profesional y en algunas ocasiones desafiando las leyes de la física, pero todo lo podía lograr, además de poder controlar el tiempo con ayuda de las arenas.

Something that disappoints me a lot is that they did not continue renewing the franchise, after T2T this game was practically buried and never heard of it again, although in 2010 came out the forgotten sands, but it was a total disaster and nobody liked it, since it did not follow a logical storyline of the story and did not have the same powers as previous installments.
The last thing I have read about this great project is that a remake of the Prince of Persia the sands of time is planned, but so far it is also a project that has been buried and no more information has been given.
Algo que me decepciona mucho es que no siguieron renovando la franquicia, luego del T2T este juego quedo prácticamente sepultado y más nunca se volvió a saber de él, aunque en el 2010 salió las arenas olvidadas, pero fue un desastre total y a nadie le gusto, ya que no seguía un hilo argumental lógico de la historia y no tenía los mismos poderes que entregas anteriores.
Lo último que he leído sobre este gran proyecto es que se planea hacer un remake del pince of Persia las arenas del tiempo, pero hasta los momentos también es un proyecto que ha sido sepultado y no se ha dado más información.
Starkiller
Starkiller from the Star Wars franchise is my second favorite video game character, as he does everything we Star Wars fans have always wanted, he fights like a true champion with the sabers, uses incredible powers and is pushed to the limit when fighting against a large army and coming out on top.
I say this because in the Star Wars movies, the jedi do not properly exploit their powers in the force, rather we see how the Sith do, but this version of grey Jedi is the best I have seen in a Star Wars video game and that is why it has become my favorite as it restores hope in the franchise.
Starkiller de la franquicia Star Wars es mi segundo personaje de videojuegos favorito, ya que él hace todo lo que siempre hemos querido los fans de Star Wars, pelea como un verdadero campeón con los sables, usa poderes increíbles y es llevado al límite al pelear contra un gran ejército y salir ganando.
Digo esto porque en las películas de Star Wars, los jedi no explotan correctamente sus poderes en la fuerza, más bien vemos como los Sith si lo hacen, pero esta versión de Jedi gris es lo mejor que he visto en un videojuego de Star Wars y por eso se ha convertido en mi favorito ya que devuelve la esperanza en la franquicia.
Characters like Starkiller is what the Star Wars story needs in these times where everything is going downhill for stories with little value. But sadly for me and the fans, this story of Starkiller and his milestones with jedi or sith were removed when the mouse company bought the franchise.
So it will no longer be possible to see this legendary gladiator in action again, although in the upcoming ST Jedi Fallen Order a little nod to this is thrown in, but it's just rumors and theories circulating from fans.
Personajes como Starkiller es lo que la historia de Star Wars necesita en estos momentos donde todo va a pique por historias con poco valor. Pero lastimosamente para mí y los fans, esta historia de Starkiller y sus hitos con jedi o sith fueron eliminados cuando la empresa del ratón compro la franquicia.
Así que ya no será posible volver a ver a este legendario gladiador en acción de nuevo, aunque en el próximo ST Jedi fallen orden se lanza un pequeño giño a esto, pero es solo rumores y teorías que circulan de los fans.
CJ GTA SA
The third video game character that I consider my favorite is CJ from San Andreas, because being an open world character you can be whoever you want and do whatever you want. This concept fascinated me because it did not necessarily follow a linear story, but you could go through all the streets of the saints in search of things that might interest you.
Also, CJ's story is heartbreaking, as he loses his mother to a rival gang and it is his thirst for revenge that drives him to return to the saints to complete his mission to give his mother a proper rest.
El tercer personaje de videojuegos que considero como mi favorito es el CJ de San Andreas, ya que al ser un personaje de un mundo abierto puedes ser quien tú quieras y hacer lo que quieras. Este concepto me fascino ya que no seguía obligatoriamente una historia lineal, sino que podías recorrer todas las calles de los santos en busca de cosas que te puedan interesar.
Además, la historia de CJ es desgarradora, ya que pierde a su madre por culpa de una pandilla rival y es su sed de venganza lo que lo lleva a volver a los santos para completar su misión de darle un descanso apropiado a su madre.
What I like most about CJ is the customization you can give him, if you want him to have muscles there are keys for that or go to a gym until you get tired, if you want him to fly you can give him a jet pack or climb to the top of a building and with a parachute launch and fly. If you want to drive a tank, a helicopter or if you want to visit Area 51 and find E.T. or the Loch Ness Monster you can do it, there are no limits to the imagination.
It is this that makes CJ a special and much loved character, not only by me but by millions of gamers. and although CJ's Story didn't get an official sequel, they did release a remaster of GTA SA with current and more polished graphics plus some new stuff, but since I can't run this new GTA SA on my laptop, I still use the old San Andreas which is still giving me a lot of fun so far.
Lo que más me gusta de CJ es la personalización que le puedes dar, si quieres que tenga músculos hay claves para eso o ir a un gym hasta cansarte, si quiere que vuele puedes darle un jet pack o subir hasta lo más alto de un edificio y con un paracaídas lanzarte y volar. Si quiere manejar un tanque, un helicóptero o si quieres visitar el área 51 y encontrar a E.T o el monstro del lago Ness lo puedes hacer, no hay límites para la imaginación.
Es esto lo que hace a CJ un personaje especial y muy querido, no solo por mi sino por millones de jugadores. y aunque la Historia de CJ no tuvo una continuación oficial, si se lanzó una remasterización del GTA SA con gráficos actuales y más pulidos además de algunas cosas nuevas, pero como no puedo correr este GTA SA nuevo en mi laptop, sigo usando el San Andreas viejo que me sigue dando mucha diversión hasta ahora.
