We all like adventures and from time to time we think about going out and connecting again with nature leaving a little bit of the stress of the city, the daily work and the worries at home and although currently because of the world pandemic we can't do it as we would like, if we can play some good video game that can entertain us for a while and help us with the stress.
In my case, I have had the opportunity to play Firewatch a video game that I can recommend you to have a good time because it is an excellent option for adventure and mystery in first person where you will live the story of Henry a man who takes a summer job as a ranger, the video game is set in the year 1989 and was developed by the study Campo Santoy released in early 2016 for Playstation 4 Xbox one and PC platforms (Windows Mac and Linux).
Plot
In the summer of 1989 Henry takes a temporary job as a park ranger. On the first day his supervisor Delilah contacts him and asks him to go and investigate some illegal fireworks that are near him. Our character immediately withdraws and returns to his watchtower but on his way he finds a sealed cave and that is where the mysteries begin, since when he arrives again at his watchtower he sees that it has been looted.
The next day he attends to a line of communication that has been knocked down as revenge on behalf of the girls he saw swimming, so Henry with his supervisor plans to scare them to give them a lesson, but Henry upon arriving at the girls' camp observes that it has been destroyed and abandoned, then Henry finds a backpack with Brian's name on it and his supervisor explains to him that it was the son of an old watchman but tells him that he and his son disappeared without a trace. Then the mystery deepens when the missing girls are reported, Henry also discovers that someone is spying on them and finds a radio and written transcripts of conversations he has had with his supervisor. In search of answers Henry breaks into a government investigation area, where he finds surveillance equipment and observes that they have details of his and his supervisor's lives and conversations, so before leaving he takes a tracking device but the distance he realizes that his watchtower has been set on fire.
Then Henry uses the tracking device that helps him get a backpack that has the key to the cave he saw on the first day. So he goes to that cave to find out what's inside and when he enters someone locks him in, but Henry sees a way out and goes deeper into the cave to uncover the mystery surrounding it. But when he reaches the bottom of the cave he discovers the body of Brian the son of the old ranger, under a pile of rocks. The next day an evacuation order is given due to two fires that are growing uncontrollably, Henry is getting ready to leave but the tracking device begins to sound, Henry decides to follow the signal that leads him to a cassette tape that the former ranger left ned where he confesses that he has been living there, he also admits that he is the one who has been watching Henry's conversations his supervisor and did it to keep himself entertained since he had run out of new books to read, Ned also mentions that his son's death was due to his inexperience climbing.
Later Henry arrives at Ned's camp, where he gets items from the watchtowers, the government area investigation complex, and some personal items from the girls who had been reported missing (it is later confirmed that the girls were found safe and sound). After discovering all the mysteries that that park contained he decides to go for the dangerous fire, but before leaving he wants to see his supervisor with whom he has formed an affectionate relationship since he has never seen in person, but Delilah advises him to go home, adding more mystery again.
Playbility
Because it is a game of adventure and mystery, mainly you have to explore the whole area and with the tools that you will find go deciphering the clues. You will use a walkie-talkie with which you will be in constant communication with Delilah, what she will tell you where to go and what to do, you will also be able to interact with the different objects that you find on the way, like stairs, ropes and boxes of provisions, among others. Something great about the gameplay of firewatch is that you get to have a camera with which you can take pictures of the scenarios or funny things on your way through the game and you can download it to your computer.
Technical section
Campo Santo studio offers us in firewatch an excellent technical section, which combines a range of intense colors along with great artistic designs that are noted in the lake, mountains, trees and sunsets, which I assure you will spend some time watching them. Also with regard to sound, the game has impeccable ambient sound effects that will make you feel as if you were in the middle of the forest.
Conclusion
Although fuera watch is a game that lasts from 5 to 8 hours, if you can entertain enough the plot and story between Henry and his supervisor also the different ministries that appear throughout the game that make it seem like a whole thriller. Also the visual section is excellent and offers you very beautiful and semi-realistic landscapes.
That's why I want to give the game 8 points because due to the fact that it is an excellent game I think it could offer more or a more extended plot to have more mysteries to discover.

A todos nos gustan las aventuras y de vez en cuando pensamos en salir y conectarnos de nuevo con la naturaleza dejando un poco el estrés de la ciudad, el trabajo cotidiano y las preocupaciones en casa y aunque actualmente por la pandemia mundial no podemos hacerlo como quisiéramos, si podemos jugar algun buen videojuego que nos puede entretener un rato y ayudarnos con el estres.
En mi caso, he tenido la oportunidad de jugar Firewatch un videojuego que te puedo recomendar para pasar un buen rato ya que es una excelente opción de aventura y misterio en primera persona donde vivirás la historia de Henry un hombre que toma un empleo de verano como guardabosques, el videojuego está ambientado en el año 1989 y fue desarrollado por el estudio campo santoy lanzado al mercado a inicios del 2016 para las plataformas de Playstation 4 Xbox one y PC (Windows Mac y Linux).
Trama
En el verano del año 89 Henry toma un empleo temporal como guardabosques, en el primer día su supervisora Delilah lo contacta y le pide que vaya investigar unos fuegos artificiales ilegales que están cerca de él, a llegar descubre a unas muchachas nadando sin ropa que al ver a Henry lo acusan de pervertido. Nuestro personajes se retire inmediatamente y se regresa a su torre de vigilancia pero en su camino se encuentra con una cueva sellada y allí es donde comienzan los misterios, ya que al llegar de nuevo a su torre de vigilancia ve que ha sido saqueada.
Al día siguiente atiende una línea de comunicación que ha sido derribada Cómo venganza de parte de las muchachas que vio nadando, Así que Henry con su supervisora planean asustarlas para darles una lección, pero Henry al llegar al campamento de las muchachas observa que ha sido destruido y abandonado, luego Henry encuentra una mochila con el nombre de Brian y su supervisora le explica que era el hijo de un antiguo compañero de vigilancia pero le dice que él y su hijo desaparecieron sin dejar rastro. Luego el misterio aumenta cuando se reportan a las muchachas desaparecidas, también Henry descubre que alguien los espía que encuentra una radio y transcripciones escritas de las conversaciones que ha tenido con su supervisora. En busca de respuestas Henry irrumpe en un área de investigación gubernamental, donde encuentra equipos de vigilancia y observa que tienen detalles de la vida de su supervisora y de él y sus conversaciones, Así que antes desalir de allí tomó un dispositivo de rastreo pero la distancia se da cuenta de que su torre de vigilancia ha sido incendiada.
Luego Henry usa el dispositivo de rastreo que lo ayuda a conseguir una mochila que tiene la llave de la cueva que vio en el primer día, Así que se dirige a esa cueva para averiguar que hay adentro y al entrar alguien lo encierra, pero Henry al ver una salida se adentra más en la cueva para descubrir el misterio que rodea. Pero al llegar al fondo de la cueva descubre el cadáver de Brian El hijo del antiguo guardabosques, debajo de un montón de rocas. Al día siguiente se da una orden de evacuación por dos incendios que crecen incontrolablemente, Henry se esta preparando para irse pero empieza a sonar el dispositivo de rastreo, Henry decide seguir la señal que lo lleva hasta una cinta de cassette que dejó ned el antiguo guardabosques donde confiesa que él ha estado viviendo allí, admite también que es el que ha estado vigilando las conversaciones de Henry su supervisora y lo hizo para mantenerse entretenido ya que se había quedado sin libros nuevos que leer, Ned también menciona que la muerte de su hijo se debió a su inexperiencia escalando.
Más tarde Henry llega hasta el campamento de ned, donde consigue artículos de las torres de vigilancia, del complejo de investigación de área gubernamental y algunas artículos personales de las chicas que habían reportado desaparecidas (luego se confirma que las chicas aparecieron sanas y salvas). Después de descubrir todos los misterios que ese parque encerraba decide uír por el peligroso incendio, pero antes de irse quiere ver a su supervisora con quién ha formado una relación afectuosa ya que nunca ha visto en persona, pero Delilah le aconseja que mejor se vaya a su casa, agregándole de nuevo mas misterio.
Jugabilidad
Debido que es un juego de aventura y misterio, principalmente tienes que te explorar toda la zona y con las herramientas que te vayas encontrando ir decifrando las pistas. Usaras un walkie-talkie con el que estarás en constante comunicación con Delilah, qué te dirá a dónde ir y que hacer, también podrás interactuar con los diferentes objetos que encuentres en el camino, Cómo escaleras, cuerdas y cajas de provisiones, entre otros. Algo genial de la jugabilidad de firewatch es que llegas a tener una cámara fotográfica con la cual puedes tomarle fotos a los escenarios o cosas curiosas en tu camino por el juego y que la puedes descargar en tu computadora.
Apartado técnico
El estudio campo santo nos ofrece en firewatch un apartado tecnico excelente, qué que combinan una gama de colores intensos junto con estupendos diseños artísticos qué se hacen notar en el lago, las montañas, los árboles y los atardeceres, qué te aseguro pasarás algún tiempo observándolos. También con lo referente al sonido, el juego cuenta con impecables efectos de sonidos ambientales que te harán sentir como si tú estuvieras en medio del bosque.
Conclusión
A pesar de que fuera watch es un juego que dura de 5 a 8 horas, si puede entretenerte bastante la trama y la historia entre Henry y su supervisora también los diferentes ministerios que aparecen a lo largo del juego que hacen que parecesca toda una película de suspenso. También el apartado visual es excelente y te ofrece paisajes muy hermosos y semi realistas.
Por eso quiero darle al juego 8 puntos porque debido a que es un excelente juego pienso que pudo ofrecer más o una trama un poco más extendida para tener más misterios para descubrir.
