Started playing a farming simulator that goes just about as fast as the real thing.
So, I started playing dCrops over a week ago. I haven't done anything with it in a week. Why? Well, it takes a week for my garden to grow.
Seriously. I have been waiting 7 days for the patch of garden card to produce the one plant, garlic, it has in it to grow enough to be harvested.
dCrops is in Alpha stage, so everything is just building up. The graphic are not as fancy as Ocean Planet or Crypto Brew Master, but they get the job done. As I mentioned, you have to buy a plot of land, which you get from the Market or through buying a card pack.
Each pack costs 2000 Crop or $2, which is 18.9 Hive at the time of this posting. Yikes!
Once you've purchased your pack, your land can hold different amounts of crops, based on how good of land it is. A Average Farm Land only has one plot and can only hold one plant. Then you just plant your crops, in the correct season, and then wait for harvest time.

When you harvest, then you can sell the fruit of your labor for CROP token? There is a 2% chance for receiving a bonus crop from an Average Farm Land. The number of plots and the chance goes up for Rare, Epic, and Legendary Farm Land. Legendary has an extra bonus crop.
The crops themselves require different numbers of days and output different things. For example, a Legendary Bell Pepper only takes 2 days to harvest, produces 5 harvestable items, and as a special ability, continues producing all season long.
So, basically, the crops sort of reflect real world items.
We have a season reward pool which starts at 500,000 CROP tokens and decreases by 0.5% every season. This reward pool is distributed to players proportionately based on the number of shares they have accumulated by the end of the season by selling their harvested crops.
Since CROP is only earned at the end of a season, which is 15 days, don't expect quick turnarounds on this game, just like real farming.
