High On Life is a weird FPS game brought to us by Justin Roiland aka the co-creator of Rick and Morty. I've never gotten into Rick and Morty, but I understand the quirky sense of humor that Roiland and co bring to the table. I'm into that and that means I was interested in High On Life from the moment I first saw it. It was an Xbox exclusive, but it now on PlayStation. I'm playing it on Xbox Game Pass now that I have access to it.
Comedy is central to this game and it smashes that aspect of it out of the park. That and the lovely visuals both have me sucked into playing more and more of this game. It helps that the shooting mechanics are on point too. You'll be tasked with assassinating select targets and fighting your way into the target's lair to win a boss battle.
There's some platforming and puzzle-solving mixed into this game too. Your typical upgrade loop is present as well. This game offers a lot of familiar things but does it in a way that really no other game has in my opinion.
With all of that said, this game is also insanely weird in the best of ways. For instance, your guns talk back to you and have vile senses of humor. This science fiction world is epically crafted and it's simply wonderful. You're sure to enjoy my gameplay video for High On Life below.
Thanks for watching and be sure to drop any comments you may have down below, I will get back to everyone.
