Hello splinter nerds
Just like the last season the leader board is now harder to climb because splinterlands is now being played by a lot of users coming from other blockchains, before it was just hive users but since the explosion of splinterlands asset, it has become a lot more tougher and the bots ain't making things easier...
I love the fact that sps keeps flowing and will keep looking for more ways to earn more sps, i could not make the splinter lands battle challenge due to the end of season rush....
The monster for this challenge is a very good card because of it amazing speed and flying abilities so it is normal to see other monsters missing when they attack it...
Regal peryton the beautiful monster belongs to the earth splinter and it has no other gift aside its flying and the speed but those two helps a great deal in battle, just like the one i am about to share.......
Have you ever been confused on what to use during a battle due to the tough rules? The combo of back to basics and noxious fumes is a deadly one because it leaves the player confused on which splinter is the best to use....
If i use the Yodin zaku, all monsters would have the blast ability but the noxious fumes will get rid of them in no time and if i also use Scarred llama mage it will always cleanse the front monster from the poison but what about the rest of the monsters!
After pondering for a while, i decided to use llama mage while the opponent came with yodin zaku, i was not surprised because those two summoners were the best option in such a battle rule.... His mission was to kill me with heavy hitters so i came up with monsters with long life plus the summoner also added 2 more life to all ....
I knew it was going to be a tough battle and also hard to predict the winner when i saw his set up but i know i have a chance due to the last card i used regal
The round 1 to 3 was not in my favor, the opponent killed my monsters until it remain only regal, the last man standing ability was activated and the poison was cleaned but there was trouble!, it was regal against 4 monsters...
You would have guess the opponent would win as the total hit of all his monsters is 17 and the life of my regal is just 9 but then regal showed them its power of speed ... 3 of those monsters miss the target which could have make the opponent a winner and that was just what i needed to win as they 2 out of the 5 monsters won't make it to the next round...
Regal killed the tank in the beginning of the next round and the noxious fume helps in terminating the other two monsters, if it was not regal i used, i won't have win the battle!
