En la misión 3, luego de enfrentarnos a la Parca deberemos dirigirnos a la torre demoniaca que ha aparecido justo en frente del ahora destruido local de Dante, teniendo que pasar entre hordas de enemigos hasta llegar a nuestro objetivo pasando por un bar en el cual obtendremos la escopeta de doble cañón la cual nos será útil y convendrá mejorar a nivel 2 para facilitar un poco el combate contra el jefe de esta misión.

Al entrar a la Cámara del Guardián nos encontraremos al mismísimo Cerberus custodiando la entrada de la torre Temen-ni-Gru. Luego de la cinemática empieza la pelea con Cerberus cubierto de una armadura de hielo la cual deberemos romper utilizando armas de fuego como las pistolas a larga distancia, o bien la escopeta más de cerca que nos será más útil para quitarle el hielo de encima. Romperle la armadura de hielo nos permitirá atacarle con la espada sin problemas a sus cabezas, pero debemos tener en cuenta que podrá regenerar su armadura en cualquier momento y repetir el proceso de dispararle por todo el cuerpo, y cuidarnos de sus ataques siendo estos con sus garras cuando estamos cerca en el suelo o con sus dientes a nuestra dirección si estamos en el aire, y de vez en cuando intentará embestirnos teniendo un rango de ataque grande del cual podremos escapar saltando o esquivando en el momento justo.

El estilo de combate Trickster es recomendando, porque nos permite correr por las paredes y esquivar ataques rápidamente sin mucho problema. Hay que tener precaución cuando ellos cambien de cabeza ya que cada uno tiene un ataque especial el cual podremos identificar con el brillo de sus ojos los cuales son: de color azul congelará un poco el suelo y a nosotros si nos atrapa en su rango de ataque, de color rojo nos lanzará una pequeña bola de hielo el cual podremos esquivar si somos lo bastante rápidos o también destruir si somos lo bastante habilidosos, y de color verde creará cristales sobre el techo los cuales caerán sobre nosotros pero se verá reflejado el punto donde caerán si vemos al suelo, permitiéndonos anticipar la caída del cristal.

El combate se volverá más difícil al haberle quitado casi la mitad de la vida Cerberus gritará “You… are not human, are you?!” y arremeterá contra el suelo alzando cristales que podrían quitarnos una gran cantidad de vida por lo que se aconseja alejarse lo suficiente, y se podrán en modo Rabia tornándose rojo, lo cual le permitirá atacar más rápido y más fuerte e incluso aumentará los ataques especiales de cada cabeza, siendo que el brillo azul que congelará todo el suelo, lo cual podremos esquivar si usamos el trickster cerca de la pared permitiéndonos correr sobre la pared, el brillo verde creara más cristales y más grandes teniendo poca posibilidad de esquivar, y el rojo creando una gran bola de hielo, y añadirá por defecto un ataque especial más activable por cualquier cabeza la cual consiste en un ataque al suelo con el cual levantará cristales en dirección a nosotros a gran velocidad cuando estemos lejos y en el suelo.
